Knicks · KNICKS ARE SHOWING A LITTLE LIFE (page 3)

I am sorry but this quote really defines who Melo is.

“It’s a different kind of effort and energy, you see guys like Langston, Lance and Lou playing extremely hard,’’ Anthony said. “Our 10-day guys are giving a bigger effort on both ends as a team. You can only follow that lead.’’

You can only follow that lead?

Did the max guy just say that? Melo, maybe if you led this team wouldn't be in this position. Maybe if you played as hard and as smart, the team would be better and players would follow you??

Unreal!

Yes, life from 3 guys on 10 day contacts....that is what it has come to.

A lot of talk about the three new players, Langston Galloway, Lance Thomas and Amundson, injecting a new enthusiasm into the locker room and toughness on the court. Fisher talks of the Knicks’ chemistry being better, and it seems to be a slight on the departed J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and Dalembert.

“We have a great group of guys right now,’’ Calderon said.

Thomas and Amundson are lunchpail forwards who scrap, set screens, rebound. Galloway, despite a below-average shooting night, managed to make the big play, chasing down an offensive rebound in the left corner and drilling the game-sealing 3-pointer. Even Anthony has tipped his hat to their invigorating presence.
