I think Acy is a better defensive player and ballhandler while Robinson is a better rebounder. I agree Robinson has better upside, but Act seems to be improving each year. They're both energy guys and I don't see either one becoming more than a bench player.

Acy I can see a little more of a comparison but not really either -- Acy never put Baylor on his back and took them to the NCAA Finals like T-Rob did, right? Acy didn't lead the NCAA in double/doubles while in college nor come close to leading college basketball in rebounding either (and Robinson played for a top D1 school--not like he accomplished these things at a creampuff school). Acy very well might be a better defender than Robinson although it's not saying much -- Acy's shown he's no defensive stopper and neither is T-Rob, although I think he could be adequate here with his size, athleticism and physicality. Robinson's shown the propensity for some huge blocks... Acy hasn't even been getting consistent mins. anymore on a shit team...What we have here with T-Rob is a bigger, more athletic version of Quincy Acy--a much better athlete, an infinitely better ball-handler with much better overall skills and potential. Robinson actually handles the ball like a skilled SG/SF--I think it's one of his better attributes. This guy can rip down a rebound and go coast to coast for a score. He's got much better potential than Acy as a scorer. Acy to me has been a little bit of a disappointment. He's been OK but hasn't really taken the baton and ran with it this year like I thought he would've. I'm ready to turn the page on guys like Amundson, Acy, even Jason Smith to be honest. I think we can do better than all 3. I see more potential in T-Rob than these 3 players. If we got a chance to grab this dude for a reduced price (talking a guy that was high lottery pick here only 2+ years removed), I'm interested.

Acy is a high energy guy. Good rebounder but poor basketball IQ and lacks the skill set needed to fit in the triangle. Nice bench player in a Reggie Evans lite role

I realize T-Robb was the man in college, but he hasn't come close to bring that guy in the pros. In the NBA, he's been a high energy guy has trouble creating his shot and defending his position. Plus, he's turnover prone. At least Acy knows his limitations with ball. As for the blocks, Acy averages more on a per minute basis for his career. I agree, Robinson has more upside. But Acy is the one who has made actual and improvements to his game since entering the league. At the end of the day, they're both end of the rotation guys. Acy is already familiar with the system and is develop ing range on his J and is bad on D.. T-Robb is a better rebounder and is horrible on D. I just don't see a huge difference in terms of overall production.

Even though I really like Towns the best, I think Russell is better for the team and the triangle. I don't see us moving Calderon, but if I could I would. Midleton is a an RFA. Not sure the Bucks will let him go -- I wouldnt want to overpay, but his 3 pt % looks good for the triangle. That leaves us with FA dollars to spend on a PF and C. LMA is my top choice on the board, but there are several high end PFs to choose from. I'll go with Love, though, but I assume is that we will use FA money on a PF/C. I could shift this so that KAT or OK4 are the pick, but I think Russell will be the ROY and the Knicks could use an award. And big men are riskier draft picks IMO, much more injury risk.

I could see us collecting the draft pick and not spending money on a max FA, instead holding out for 2016. That said, not sure that Durant and Anthony really co-exist, so I am not sure what they are holding out for.

The balance of the roster will be filled out with system and energy guys. I am seeing Galloway, Thomas and Amundson and Fisher's go to fillers...so maybe they keep a spot.

I'm a little worried about Melo, I wonder if he would accept a trade to the Lakers -- I'd likely do that in a heartbeat if it brought back another top 5 pick. Hopefullt KAT or Stanley Johnson. Cauley-Stein. But that's for another thread.

I can't stand kevin love, I don't know why, but it pleases me that he's not doing to well in Cleveland. I suppose Phil could try and sell him on the triangle being a great fit for his skills and we'd involve him more in the offence than the Cavs, but honestly I don't want him at all. We need two way players, not one way big names

Me too. One SG I actually wouldn't mind trying to spend a little money trying to acquire.

I like middleton's potential. He's everything I thought Landry Fields would turn out to be.

Kris Middelton would be a nice great a the right price but he is another RFA that would be hard to get at a fair price which could lead to him getting overpaid for his services. Is Milwaukee willing to pay some tax money? Will they be looking to add a FA or two before singing their RFAs? Knight will likely get the max which would shoot them near the cap and Middelton is a $5M type player probably more.

Middelton is very similar to what Demarre Carroll is now. He can play up and down the lineup and would make a good addition. I'm just not sure he gets out of Milwaukee.

Midleton's restricted nature makes me want to make that offer immediately to him -- 1st thing in FA. I would sweeten the pot for them to let him go. Not sure if Hardaway gets that done. As much as I had high hopes for Timmy Jr., seems he wants to be a chucker more than a player.

Asik fits pretty well at the C. There are clearly a number of options available at C -- the pricing on these guys might be a little skewed. There should be quite a few 'buyers' this year.

Good point. The Pelicans will be stuck with Gordon's deal next season. That may influence the direction they go with Asik's deal. Still a long shot, but I don't think he's completely off the table.

Yep, there is a reason Asik only gets 20-is minutes a game. Also, the rap on him is he has hands of stone, so I was surprised yellowboy90 said the opposite. I think the Pelicans will over pay to keep him- they gave up this years 1st round pick for him, so it's one of those situations where they may feel obliged to re-sign him to a foolish contract to avoid looking foolish.
