Do you all think Timbs would trade that kid to us? He is athletic as hell and has a complete basketball game. He is not a good defender and is a similar player to THJ. Which out of the two would you much rather have??????
When did he start being able to shoot or defend on the NBA level?
He looked great yesterday.
Lavine. The guy has the physical tools to be a star. Minny isn't trading this guy

Especially for THJ. The Wolves are dumb, but they ain't brain dead.
Russell Westbrook potential
I see you edited the original post. Anyway, I would pick Lavine by a mile. He at least rebounds and pass well for a rookie. He might not be a good shooter now but there have been other players who had poor shooting rookie years. If he comes back the next year shooting better and getting to the line Minny might have a special core.

Yeah sure- I'm sure they'd love to give us their players for no good reason.
How can he have a complete basketball game, but not be a good defender and be described as a similar player to Tim Jr?! You're high on kool aid because he won the dunk contest!

I don't think he has a complete game yet but maybe in a couple of years. I don't think he'll be the kind of player that Phil will be going after so i don't see it happening.

Perhaps an elaborate kidnapping/extortion scheme involving Timberwolves front office members and/or their families could get a deal done. GET TO WORK, PHIL!
