Knicks · Can we get our pick back from Houston for Calderon? (page 1)

They need a PG and we certainly could accept our 2nd round pick back--is it feasible? Its certainly cheaper than what Phoenix is asking for Dragic(played and pick) with Houston he gives them a tight 3 point shot and he should be able to play much better there than here with only 1 additional yr commitment

Likely their Plan a) is to trade the Pelicans 1st for Dragic. If that falls through maybe they consider Calderon for our 2nd back.

I think they'll keep swinging for Dragic.

Calderon and they can have THJ for our 2nd back

Morey has a terrible track record for executing his plan a) trades (aside from harden) because other GMs don't like him and because he seems to want to be seen as the big winner. Usually he ends up settling for his plan b trades

I would take Jason terry and Terence Jones or whatever works....

Calderon's value is so low, they won't even offer us a bag of peanuts for him.

Maybe for Priggs

Our 2nd round pick this year? That's likely to be #31 or almost a late 1st round pick. I highly doubt any team would trade that for Calderon or Prigs. I don't think any team would even give up a pick in the 50s for Calderon, and I'm not sure about Prigs.

I think they improve their team Calderon for Jason Terry and our pick back and we can throw in 3mm for 40% of his contract next year that we save on the luxury tax savings in a deal like this to make it a tad more enticing.
