If you havent caught them
Deangelo Russell @ 7 and Stanley Johnson @9
Also in the nBA you can check out FA's Enes Kanter and Brandin Knight 10:30 TNT
Russell is the only intriguing one.

Don't sleep on Stanley. He's going to be a solid two-way player. Some compare him to Ron Artest, but he's more advanced than Artest was at the same stage.
Phil is at the Ohio State game, by the way.

My guess is that is just a show. I dont think we want a PG we want a big player.

You really think that Phil would do that this far from the draft? I'd like to believe that he is doing his due diligence.
Russel is not a good defender at all, it has room for improvement but his lack of D will get exposed in the Nba but other than that he has been great so far.

He's been slow to react on some coverage assignments, something that pissed off one of his coaches tonight, but he seems to have the lateral defensive movement that he will need in the NBA.
Also seems to have a frame that can take on a few lbs of muscle without a problem.
Seems hesitant to impose himself offensively as a scorer, but he seems to be playing within their system, and he has made some nice passes.
Nice alley oop from Russell. On the sidelines hurting....

Yeah, but I wouldn't say he is hesistant per se, but just more composed and wont force shots up just for the sake of it.
Weve all kind of seen what Deangelo Russell might become--he's hit a mini slump in his freshmen year here going on 5 games. He needs to put on 15 pounds of muscle but he'll be a very good player in the NBA at some point. To me its go big or go home. I want big players. If I somehow miss out on Towns and Okafor(and god that would be terrifying) unless Bobby Portis blows up--I might be willing to trade that pick to Philly for their ten pick a number 1 next year and 2 of their premium 2's this year. 4 picks or no deal.
I think they said that Russell had a bit of a hamstring. He's a good player who still has a ton of upside. I can't wait to see how he performs in the tourney. He's on the list for sure.
Anyone else see a young, Memphis-version of Penny Hardaway in D'Angelo Russell?

Penny was very athletic and also 3 inches taller.
Reggie saying a change of scenery was exactly what Brandon Knight needed. Ah, dude was playing just fine in Milwaukee there, buddy. Lol. Westbrook's got his hands full dealing with Bledsoe and Knight..
How much worse is Joel Embiid's injury than Durant's? Anyone know? KD's got a screw in his foot--just had to replace it with a different screw w/o a head..

I remember people bringing up Yoa Ming's name when the injury was announced.
Earl Barron reppin' for Phoenix. Hope he makes the most out of the opportunity.

I was just gonna say. Just saw him pop a 15 footer. When did they get him? Nice pickup...He's always been a decent player--dude should've gotten much more a chance in the NBA. I feel for this guy--he deserves to have much more money in his bank account by now.. Would've been unorthodox but I still say that if we played Barron on Hibbert instead of flu Tyson, that playoff series against Indy could've went differently..

Earl Barron is the new Kevin Ollie. Ollie did cash in one time for 3 years 9mm Barron has never been able to do this although his skills are worthy of it.
