Knicks · Which Knick Was A -40 Last Night Against Kings? (page 1)

Alan Hann went through some stats last night during the post-game and was happy that Shved was only a -1 for the game. He said one Knick was a -40, but looked in the camera and said that he won't say who.

Well, who was it? A -40?! That's kind of historically bad. I would love to know which one of our heroes it was.

That is completely irelevant, that person could have just played a lot of minutes and was in they were extending their lead. Coach coulda just kept him in if he was the only one playing well and taken out the other people.

Langston G.

But so what?

I agree. Plus/minus in basketball isn't really a telling stat. In hockey it is, but plus/minus doesn't carry the same weight in basketball.

Having said that, a minus 40 is pretty damn remarkable. You have to be playing some bad ball offensively and defensively to get a number like that. If Stymie wants to make the team next year, he sure as hell better not be posting anymore minus 40 games.
