Knicks · Watching games (page 1)

I have watched very very few basketball games at all this season, not because the Knicks are awful (I'm used to that!), but because of my working hours (working in 3 different locations with lots of travel), a course I'm doing and the fact I look after my niece 3 days a week- she won't let me watch anything!
Moonangie @ 3/5/2015 2:51 PM
I bought League Pass so I could watch Wizzy games with my son. Won't watch Knicks this season, but closely following the build up to draft and potential FA signings for next year. I think we are at least three years away from making nose in the playoffs, which is a timeline I can accept if the team is well-managed and well-coached and gets players who give a shyte.
Splat @ 3/5/2015 3:27 PM
LOL, oh man 100% not watching
gunsnewing @ 3/5/2015 3:30 PM
Still watching. Game on TV But usually doing something else. Knicks gave me ADD the past 15yrs
martin @ 3/5/2015 4:58 PM
I DVR and see what score is at half. If semi close, I'll start it up just to check out the young players. Rinse and repeat with the second half.
WP76 @ 3/5/2015 5:08 PM
Still watching--until the Knicks are down by 30 or so which is happening all too often lately.
CrushAlot @ 3/5/2015 5:18 PM
I still watch. I stopped after the first half on Tuesday but for the most part I find this squad entertaining.
FireWoodson @ 3/5/2015 5:44 PM
Of course I still watch every game.

Uhh, we wait all summer for basketball to return, why would I stop watching my team? Because they stink? Because they lose? Then go watch Kentucky basketball if the only reason you watch is to see your team win.

(I will admit I missed the first quarter of the Kings game. I was out, I DVR'd the game, but found out our heroes were down by 25, so I never went back and watched the first quarter.)

Still watch every game. I actually can't really remember a season where I didn't watch nearly every single game. It's not always entertaining but I do learn some things about our players and also other teams players who might be good to look to bring in.
EnySpree @ 3/5/2015 7:07 PM
I'm always know when the game is on and I'll watch. I'm not rushing home or making sure I don't miss tip off like normal...but if I'm home I'll take a look.

I still love the Knicks and this new group gives me pleasure still. I know we suck so I'm not expecting to beat anyone. It's hell of fun to see the guys competing. The team has zero talent but a few good standout players. Lou Amundson is a pleasure to watch. Galloway is also a pleasure to watch. I'm a huge fan of Alexey Shved. I like watching Bargnani score too. The rest of the team is trash lol.

I'm just so happy we don't have Shumpert, JR and amare on the team anymore. I can't wait till we raise the talent level in the summer. We have to get guys that are fitting the players that are actually playing well and in the way we want to play.

I stopped watching Knick games around December. Still keep track by looking at boxscores and such but no longer investing my time with them this season.
markvmc @ 3/5/2015 7:23 PM
Haven't watched a full game all season. Haven't watched more than 5 minutes of a game since about game 5. Can't remember the last time I actually tuned in even for a minute or two.
Splat @ 3/5/2015 7:25 PM
Nothing says watching the Knicks like sitting on an empty Cheetos bag wearing a hobo bathrobe and projectile shooting your toenail clippings at empty beer cans while Shane Larkin dribbles under the basket and makes a spazzy pass with seconds on the shot clock.
TPercy @ 3/5/2015 11:10 PM
multitask
BRIGGS @ 3/5/2015 11:27 PM
Ive watched every game but 4 this year but followed online. Usually I watch them all or atleast 80 of them/. I used to like going to some games but that stopped--I'll only to pay to see the Nets until such time that I think is appropriate.
callmened @ 3/6/2015 2:30 AM
watching this team makes me vomit. i just cant tolerate bad basketball. even if its my favorite team.
BRIGGS @ 3/6/2015 6:47 AM
Im a Mets Jets Knicks Rangers fan--Im programmed over 40 years to accept losing as part of sports. We have a high draft pick so rooting for a loss for the team to get better is the goal right now:) See if the Jets did not win in the meaningless end--theyd be picking 1-2 and control the board. They win a nothing game and fall all the way to 6. At worst holding 1-2 gives you an extreme opportunity to trade down for massive asset intake. They wont get the same deal at 6 nor will they have a shot at either QB. They need a whole new offensive line RB's a QB safety's--will they get all that with picks 6 and 38? Same thing with Knicks we need interior player badly with talent.
