Bottom line it's not about being the most athletic team. The Knicks need a talent upgrade super athletic or not.

not everyone has athletic brains

That, or its a liquor induced rant?

Either way he is usually right.

Briggs has the benefit of picking 20 guys for the draft he likes. At some point there is a choice to make. For that none of us are accountable. We have the worst record in the NBA so its pretty freaking obvious we are lacking.

Now its pretty obvious things in NY have been wrong for a long time. The fact we hit rock bottom is a healthy sign.

For those who say "Hassan Whiteside" just remember this is a kid who has bounced around a few years and could not stick with anyone.

This is actually a personal dig--not necessary and you've been subtly doing it for sometime and I have said nothing. I don't drink my man and your obnoxious attitude is certainly noted. Hey I'm a big fan and so are most people here and this losing has gone on way to long. You have 10,000 of K of posts and maybe 5% are on the Knicks--I don't see anyone posting negative connotations towards you? If you havent noticed in 10 years I always cut my list to 1-2-3 players at the draft as in first choice 2nd choice third choice for a pick with some 2nd round names thrown in. I just made a list with a final mock I put Towns/Okafor Kaminsky and Hanlan as my choices as 2 first and as second and noted its still likely impossible to even conceive of getting this. I would choose to ignore me Nolad if it s get s you this upset on a basketball forum??? Go get your self some duck soup and relax chief.

Briggs,

I did say you were "right".

Thats right, I don't get a lot of negative connotations cuz well, it speaks for itself!
But here's the thing, I don't know you, so all we got is what we say and how we say it. If you start a lot of threads, and you do, just understand Im not jumping on you, its just that post.

I also say when your right or good take. Look it up. When your good, your good.

Personal? Naw, your just taking it that way. I know you watch a lot of hoop and do respect your acumen. Everyone loves you Briggs, you get lots of compliments and Im sure you enjoy the feedback.

Sorry, I forgot you will start more threads to cut the list down. I actually tried to start one for you. I think you took it as sarcasim but I thought one sticky Briggs thread is better than 10 one liners a day.
Im sorry if you took it personal. On the other hand your arrogance to think others don't see what you think is outstanding.

This thread is a bit out there cuz its like your the only one who noticed the team is bad. There was a game thread, is that not enough audiance for you?
Im not gonna put you on ignore cuz I read all your threads. Didn't think your were this thin skinned. When I write crap I laugh when Im called out on it. Its usually crap.

When you started this thread I thought of this guy!

Hey!

We have almost nothing. We can't compete at an athletic level.

The core team of the spurs thats been together for ages are not on the level as the other top athletes in the nba. But im sorry for even responding to such a pointless comment.

If only we had Knick fans that play ball....parker....ginobli.....duncan are smart crafty players...they are not on lebron...griffin....howard....westbrook....rose...etc....level.

But if you think they are then i really dont care to go back and forth. Continue to dissect every word if that turns u on. Im not saying anything out of the norm. They built their core team around high crafty IQ players....instead of drafting the players that run the fastest or jump the highest. Now if that isnt clear then this convo is dead. You win.

Quote from bleacher report.....since the people who responded to my post dont believe me.

"Despite their unrivaled success, the Spurs are not one of the league's most athletic teams. Instead they rely on immaculate execution and thorough game-planning to maintain their status among the league's championship contenders. Although they may not be one of the league's most athletic teams, they'll gladly point to their rings as a measure of their success."

yeah they are #12 and the KNICKS are number 9!

Oh wait ... that was in 2012 ... LOL

Also, if the most athletic means high flying dunkers than our opinions of what defines athletic is very different.

Maybe the 76ers are the most athletic ... yay

We are the most arthritic team in the league.
