That dude is long, athletic, And can make any Team look good at both ends of the court.
I know we all want guys like Okafor or KAT or Russell, but Stein could possibly have the better impact then all of these dudes. A true 7 footer who is athletically gifted with speed and defensive ability. That dude can seriously take over a game. He is a more athletic Joakim Noah.
Can you imagine a lineup of Cousins and that kid in he front court??
I wouldn't put him in the Noah class. HE can jump higher than a young noah. Also, bigs like him can be found late in the draft or in other drafts it seems.

Noah was not as polished as he is now when he was drafted.

Noah was miles better coming out of college than Stein is now.

I like Stein btw, he is just not noah.

I happen to think that stein is better then Noah at guarding all 5 positions on the floor. He is by far more agile. By the way, I love both guys

Noah is one of the best defenders in the nba and just one DPOY ... hard to say that Stein is better than the DPOY.
Noah is also one of the smartest players in the league ... bad comparison other than them both being good defenders.
Noah could handle the ball, pass, and blk shots from every where. Noah would actually lead fast breaks as a ball handler. The only things Noah didn't have was a legit shot and bulk. He did have a way better low post game because if you are a big and play for Billy D you will learn the hook shot over both shoulders. That is a staple.

I agree about all you have said about Noah. However, I see the same qualities in Stein. That is my opinion

the brains? Noah is pretty much better in every category (Per 40).
If you really believe that he is as good as noah then maybe we should take him with our top 4??
My dream draft is a combination of OK4 and Stein....

Yeah, and to add on. Early on in his career Noah would switch on to Paul Peirce, Wade, and Lebron without real problems. Dude is something else when he's healthy.
I get what the 1969 is saying but Noah did so many other things at a higher level than Stein.

I would like the top 12 picks

Or I would trade the top pick for Stein and another pick or vet. With Stein, at least you know he's a Tyson Chandler clone right now, with potential to get better. And he's a senior so he has more maturity right now. Towns has a higher ceiling, but he's currently way below his potential right now. I'm not sure if Phil, Melo or Fisher can afford a project right now. I think they rather have mature players and vets that can show their value right away, without waiting on them to develop.

I'll leave that up to the trade experts. It's just frustrating as a fan, when we have so many holes to fill, and only 1 pick to use.
A trade that could get us cousins and Stein would immediately turn us into a winner.

can't believe that we don't have our 2nd rounder this year. that's brutal
