So yes, MSG headquarters has certainly made it clear to the entire organization that fixing the Knicks is job #1.

What other job is more important than fixing the Knicks? I wanna know what's #2 - #10... Jim apparently has some wisdom in him that I just don't see or comprehend

No one is more frustrated and disappointed than Jim about the way things have turned out. He's a huge Knick fan himself! I know for certain that he will continue to actively manage this situation until the Knicks are fixed. Whatever it takes, however long it takes he'll do it. He is in this for the long haul.

In 1999, Dolan was given an increased role in managing Cablevision's sports properties. The Answer Man attended his first Knicks game in 1965. You do the math about the comparison of frustration and disappointment.

That frustration extends beyond the basketball court. Under Jim Dolan's watch MSG media policies limit access to players. Why are reporters and Knicks' beat writers prohibited from interviewing players without an MSG public relations official present?

The Dolan Rules forbid one-on-one interviews, and cutting off any writers who are critical of the organization. That is censorship. Plain and simple. The legendary Marv Albert is a perfect example. Why?

"He is in it for the long haul" is not a strategy.

Sounds like "Jim" is bursting at the seams..This could get interesting..

this would not shock me one iota

agree

Anybody who can increase ticket sales, while the team is 13 & whatever.....and still selling season tickets. Oh, did I forget he's about to purchase the NY Times, so he can take control of the NY Media...While MSG stock has been at it's highest peak....He may not know basketball, but he knows money!

If you're looking for someone to make money off a product nobody likes.....Dolan is your man!

is that a press release or an official statement?

I wish more posters could appreciate the pure unadulterated genius of James Dolan. StraightShot is like a modern day St John the Baptist, spreading the good news of a man who will change your life if you let him into your heart. Thank you straight shot, thank you my friend.
