Knicks · ...So How Long Before We Cue the Anthony Davis to NYK Rumors? (page 1)

It's hard for me to see him accepting the qualifying offer to become an unrestricted free agent but stranger things have happened. With the cap expected to explode, it's possible that conventional wisdom in these situations is no longer conventional. Hopefully, he demands a trade beforehand and we can begin the process of wooing him.

That being said, how ridiculous would it be to potentially have Jahlil Okafor and Anthony Davis in our front court? I know it is a very long shot but tomorrow's success starts with today's planning.

he could get insurance, but really puts himself at risk... but his only real course of action is the situation Greg Monroe is in. So NO extends the QO when they cant resign him. AD plays his 5th year at that salary and is a UFA at the end of it. Obviously when that happens he can take his pick of max offers. He can sign a two year deal with the 2nd being a PO.

The only thing that gets him here is if thats his goal. Cant possibly imagine any trade scenarios

Yea it's the quintessial pipedream. Lovely dream but right now my main focus is getting a date with Kate Upton. No one can stop me not even Verlander

I'm not concerned with actually trading for him. If we did, it'd result in a Carmelo Anthony type situation and negate the value of having AD in the first place. Him demanding a trade, however, gives us the ability to talk to him/his agent ahead of his free agency and give us the opportunity to make our case and endear ourselves to them. That is valuable since we'd be able to beat a majority of the league to the punch.

If you has a choice of Davis or Durant, which would be your pick?

Where is Pat Ewing Jr.? I thought he could have been a nice player.

I'm sure Rory Sparrow and Louis Orr have kids (not together, mind you!). Lets scout and sign them/ or just sign them!

This franchise has to get their act together big time if they want to attract the likes of an Anthony Davis.
