Let me add in a double GTFO to Jason Smith. Smith should be gone. How a 7 footer goes 1-5 every other game is beyond me--but hes adept at it.

Would have been great had we used the mini MLE on DJ Augistine or Jared Bayless instead
Both would have a role on the team and have trade value
Even had we used it on James Johnson who signed a 2year deal at 2.5m per year to go back to Toronto
His ability to play LOCK DOWN DEFENSE and defend MULTIPLE positions from PG, SG, SF, PF, and have a combination of 5 steals and blocks togehter with his length/athleticism
I think Orlando Sanchez >>>> Jason Smith at PF
Jason Smith is an undersized Center that shoots 17footers and doesn't block shots

Not sure what is going on with Sanchez. He has been reported as leaving Westchester to play in Puerto Rico twice. Since the second report he has been a dnp coaches decision but he is still in the box score.

He is probably pissed off that he isn't getting that call up from the Knicks
If he gets called up now and stays for the rest of the year, it would count as 1year experience and he would be eligible to earn a 2nd year's salary next season
He has put in to work and showed that is capapable of executing in this system in the D League in all aspects of the game on OFFENSE in the Triangle
Lets not forget he doesn't have many years before he will decline, so the sooner he gets his chance to play in the NBA and earn his chance for a real contract...
I believe he is about 27 years of age so in general, physical declines dramitically in the next couple of years
Will he get a shot to get a Copeland like contract?
Again, I think he has very good skills that compliment this system and comparable to Jared Sullinger
By skills alone, I think he is the most NBA ready off all our NBA Weschester Knicks, including Galloway/Wear..
