Knicks · Okafor is not a lock for #1 (page 7)

Getting back to the topic, the Knicks are in great position to get a great young talent which we desperately need. Either Okafor Towns or Russell could be a number 1 pick IMO. Okafor seems like the most NBA ready at least offensively. Towns is better defending/rebounding but it might take him a little while to reach his full potential offensively. Russell also seems to be ready to make a impact insantly. Im actually more imprssed by Russell because he doesnt play on a good team like Duke or Kentucky

Steph Curry was a great college player from a small school but doesnt have the athleticism to be a high ceiling guy and even if he's a good scorer will alway be a defensive liability. Or he could be an MVP candidate on the best team in the league. What jumps out about OK4/Russel and Hezonja is how skilled they are, and how important that is in today's NBA.

I think we have really good choices in the top 5 and we will walk away with a good player who can help us for years. Potentially a starter right out of the gate as well

I agree which is why everytime i hear that the Knicks might tarde their pick i get pissed. Sooner or later we need some talented youth on this team who are on rookie deals

If you can get a steph curry type and a young big.....isnt that more talented youth? Its a pipe dream and thats what fans do around this time. The reality is phil will not find a trade partner and we keep a top 4 pick.

My thing is this draft has top 4 picks in the top ten. Everybody is 1a...1b....1c....2a....2b...2c

Interesting article about OK4 struggles the other weekend, with every passing day I question their possible choice as the 1st pick http://www.sbnation.com/2015/3/31/831728...
