Knicks · OT: How Much Do the Bulls Still Like Kevin Love? (page 1)

...because with Kevin being marginalized in CLE, there might be a shot for them to acquire him. If all they need is a stretch 4 that can move the ball, defend and rebound reasonably well then Nikola Mirotic is perfect for them. The Bulls would need to move additional salary, which is where we could intercede. If they get Kevin Love, then Pau Gasol becomes expendable and is a piece we definitely can use. I'd even do the deal if we had to take back Derrick Rose's contract, to allow them to gain cap space to sign a Reggie Jackson, Rajon Rondo or Brandon Knight. I'm not a fan of Rose's game but he'd be a nice stopgap until a D'Angelo Russell physically develops. Thoughts?

They have Pau Gasol who is much better player than him. Makes no sense.

I doubt the bulls will pay for Love when they have Mirotic

I think we're going to be stuck with these kinds of options - where we're not outright signing a star, but helping free up space on the cap for someone who is. And that's ok if we can add some picks back.

I don't see the bulls trading rose - but they sure as heck should if they could.

I don't see the Bulls moving Rose and neither would I want him on this team with his health concerns (Amare 2.0), but if they were indeed to be looking to move some contracts for cap space, I would love to get Taj Gibson especially since he would be a perfect fit to Jahlil Okafor if we drafted him.
