You will get a chance to see a lottery pick C on the other team Jakob Poetl(I have him at pick #9). I've thought all year that it would be in the KNicks best interest long term to find two BIg men by trading the 2017 pick into this years draft. Poetl is NOT any where close to being at his peak as a player physically but you can see this man will be a 260 pound C when he is done growing (i think hes close to 7-1 with long arms) I saw him early in the season while looking at Delon Wright and hes noticeably bigger already. This is the man I would want over Kaminsky over Stein over anyone else not in the top 2 big men. He might get in FT tonight against ok4 as a every player has struggled with Ok4 power I could also be surprised. But this player is a two way guy who projects IMHO as a top 3 pick or even #1 in the FUTURE if he were to stay at school. He has the highest FG % for ANY player in CBB who plays over 20 minutes as a FRESHMEN and raised his play .715 in the Pac 10. This is also going with 2 blocks and 7 rebounds in just over 20 minutes. In some ways hed be a better fit with Okafor than Towns himself--I think if you watch him tonight you'll see why. Hes a VERY VERY nice player a darkhorse in this draft who could also STILL be in play for a top 5 pick--I really believe that picks 3-6 are still up for grabs by 5-7 players.
I think Poetl has more lateral quickness than Towns
You said "Hey"..............

Knicks can't trade picks in consecutive years. Since the 2016 pick is gone for Bargnani, the earliest pick they can trade is 2018.
he is interesing at #4 but everyone says he is probably staying in school...
I would like to see him go against NBA bigs......And it seems like Kentucky is the only college team with NBA bigs. I'm just saying what the experts say. So they must be talking about either Stein or Towns as the NBA bigs.

OK4 seems like a quick learner, according to the SI article. Thats a very good sign, that he will improve his defense and do whatever it takes to get better. I'm happy with either pick....As long as we are adding talent, and not taking away talent. And this draft is full of talent.

To be the 4th pick in this draft hed probably have to match Okafor tonight--but hes got opportunity. More like 9-16 if he came out.
he definitely deserves to be in the discussion... the 4 spot on down has been in flux the whole season and it's not a high bar to climb... he and maybe myles turner has the most upside since they are bigs who play defense who has some skill down low...
been waiting for this duke/utah game since the tourney began... gonna be good...
Big thing is his match-up with OK4. If Poetl really does have a defensive presence, you get to see him against the best college big man offensively. Can learn a lot, here.
I'll be checking out Delon Wright, he seems like the mudiay of college bball.
Is it just me or has Tys Jones grown a lot?
Duke is going home tonight
I am watching...I like Okafor, but I think there are better bigs out there. A lot more complete players. I know you are going to kill me BRIGGS, but my opinion is what it is
Okafor as been really impressing me this game, his defense looks slightly better and he is bossing this utah team.

I agree he has been doing a good job of challenging without fouling. I think he need to do a better job attacking the defensive rebounds though.
I would give Okafor a touch every time on offense if I was Duke

If you put his terrible d and lack of range. okafor is actually a somewhat complete player. He, like towns, has really high IQ,.. He is a great passer. Great rebounder, and I don't even have to get started on his post game.

He is ok, but for our needs if a team is willing to offer multiple firs round picks for him, I would pull the trigger. I am crazy like that
Winslow is better than anyone on Kentucky not named Karl Towns so the idea that OK4 doesn't try on defense to preserve his fouls and not foul out because Duke can't afford to lose him and Kentucky can lose Towns every game is horse chit
that foul on delon wright could cost them this game. If Duke get hot it might be game over for Utah
Okafors one on one defense has been bad this game
