When Winslow is going beast mode...good luck for the opposing team.

He won't succeed as a 3 at the next level. However, his range will help him become a solid 6'6" SG. He's definitely got the size for that position.
He could succedd, he may be undersized but he has the strengh for it. Not to mention he also has a nice little post up game.
What 6'6" SF is in the NBA?

He is sick. There is not anything he can't do. I'm starting to believe the Grant Hill comparisons
That is why people refer to him as a Lebron-esque type player. I think he will eventually become Jimmy butler.
Does resemble Butler but stronger taking it to the hole and more offensively skilled. More like Hill/Lebron-esque right. Wonder if we can play him at SG?
He could easily make it work. if we get the 4th pick I'd draft him and make him a SG. He hasthat competitivness and that tougness for NY.

Sprewell was 6'5 and wirey playing SF for us. Besides Winslow might be able to start at SG for us.

That's what I worry about. If I saw a better handle(NBA quality) then maybe. It will be work. I mean there have been cases. I am not comparing him exactly to Dudley but Jared Dudley didn't have the best of handle and he had a nice run as a 2 guard in phx. I think Winslow is a way better athlete and defender so there is a chance for Winslow as a 2.
I see hack-a-OK4 in his future

Winslow is everything I am hopeful Shumpert will become and an inch taller

Latrell Sprewell's athleticism enabled him to play SF. He had a history of playing SG.
What I'm trying to say is the modern NBA 3 is at least 6'8, with guys like Durant nearing 7 feet!
ok so Winslow is a SG. Even better. Now he can play with Melo
gunsnewing wrote:Winslow is everything I am hopeful Shumpert will become and an inch taller
Winslow, can shoot, Shumpert can't.

And these guys can consistently score on and defend Lebron, Rudy Gay, Gordon Hayward, Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green?

Your Shump fandom is still going strong.
Rather play Winslow at SG than start another 6'2-6'3 inefficient jumpshooting SG
Our team needs a big much more than a guard
If we get winslow then we need to have a really big FA in terms of our front court.

Young and Allen are SGs that might play some 3. Allen does a good job defending the 3 but he is usually the 2.
lol that was such a foul on the baseline
Are black barbers banned from the Duke campus?
Crazy game MSU-Oak St @TBS
Winslow is probably 4 right now....
Here's the troubling trend with okafor.. The defense has improved very slightly... at the cost of his rebounding... Not a good game from okafor...

He cannot be stopped
He grew 1.5 inches from 2013 to 2014 according to DraftExpress. The last measurement was 6'6" without shoes.
He's strong, quick, and you see flashes of greatness at times.
And he only just turned 19- he's been 18 for most of this season! You have to think he might grow a bit more. One more inch and he would be over 6'8" in sneakers... can't see that he'd have trouble at the 3.
That celebration and missed assignment after the shot was stupid, though- hopefully Coach K has a sit down with him.
