Hope Conley is ok. Would love for Conley to be a Knick.
holfresh @ 5/9/2015 10:39 PM
Wow..big shot by Lee..
stopstandthere @ 5/9/2015 10:40 PM
If Mem loss this game by blowing 4 quarter, they do not deserve to move forward to Semi Final.

Liked him for the Knicks for a while, but I never saw it happening. The one thing messing up the Memphis offense is that even tho Tony Allen is a great defender he's not a scoring threat and that's why I'd like a guy like Danny Green who can play SG and defend at an elite level but can also score and can't be left alone. When you have bigs who can draw doubles you need a guy like Danny Green.

Man that would suck if GAsol fouls out

For all we know you still laugh at Jerry Lewis movies! Get tense watching "Speed Racer"?

BTW, Who says that???? Oak would not make the league. Ward might not get drafted.

The "90's" had a lot of teams. Which ones? Remember, LJ and Mase did not play together.

Curry looks raddled..
holfresh @ 5/9/2015 11:39 PM
Folks like to say Dray Grean can defend 5 position...We need Dray Green to defend the (his/one)PF position..His name is Zach Randoph..

I'm not sure if GS is going to make it past Memphis but so far . . . Kerr seems to be the weak link. It's true that Memphis matches up brilliantly with GS, exposing their weaknesses and that Conley has played Curry (in these games and in past games) better than almost another guard in the league but . . . Kerr has not been making adjustments and his game strategies look weaker than they should be. Even Jackson made various adjustments (though he was somewhat forced to by injuries) last year that were much smarter than what Kerr has been doing. As far as I can tell, Kerr's just waiting for GS to "click" and letting Memphis play the game they want to play.

Good- I like the Grizzlies anyways, but beating Kerr would be extra satisfying, just because I got fed up of all the 'Kerr is god' stuff all season. He definitely deserves credit for moving Iggy to the bench, starting Green and getting Barnes back on track, but Mark Jackson deserves a lot more credit than he has gotten- he got that team to the cusp, and then Kerr took over a great situation and made a few adjustments.

holfresh @ 5/10/2015 8:08 AM
In Kerr's defense, I think there was another game where he was down big and went small and it worked..He certainly should have doubled the post much earlier..Gasol to my surprise was letting them off the hook..I think he took way too many tough shots like Aldridge..But If I were the Grizzlies coach, I'll keep pounding them inside until they find an answer..
holfresh @ 5/10/2015 8:36 AM
The irony in all this is that Kerr was the GM in PHX who was forcing MDA to install Shaq's low post presence into the offense/defense..

grizzlies have had injury issues all season and are more or less healthy right now and gelling at the right time. good for them. i like players like conley and tony allen and gasol. all are somehow underrated.

interesting statement was made at some point of last night's broadcast, where someone said: "grizzlies [are one of the few team that] play playoff basketball during the regular season." this may not get you the best record or the highest seed but it apparently has its benefits. this is why it always pays to ask whether the team you root for looks like a playoff team or not.

"a win is a win" is false.

It's not false in the playoffs..

The "90's" had a lot of teams. Which ones? We lop them all together sometimes.

Gasol is not underrated..he put up some horrendous shots, much like Aldridge last night and he didn't have to..He won defensive player of the year when he wasn't even the best defensive player on his team...Gasol is a lot of things, underrated ain't one of them..

I'm thinking of the Ewing teams with Oak and Starks...I read many post that said this team could not thrive in today's NBA..And what's wrong with Jerry Lewis movies??
