Blatt lost that game last night. Taking out Mozgov because GS went small was stupid. Timofey was playing well and Kerr was trying to force Cavs hands to change from what was working. He should have put 2 dead eye shooters on the guards and kept Timofey and Tristan in with LeDouche. GS had no answer for those 2.
GS did not double lebron that much and forced him to do it himself and not allow his teammates to get off. It was a decent stategy
JRSmith made a couple of bonehead plays last night. The worst one was when they were trying to get a switch on a PnR for LeDouche. Curry was on JR and when JR set the screen...he did not clear to give LeDouche space on the switch.

Not only that..Green had 5 fouls and was playing center and they settle for jump shots..They didn't attack the run...

Looked like they went to Mozgov........IN the paint. Moz hit two clutch free throws. He missed a reverse layup. Travel call was bull. Then they panicked a bit.

Absolutely. They should have kept posting up LeDouche from the left side and have Timofey cut from the the top and have Tristan on the right side. That shit was working wonders. Mozgov has great hands and great footwork. Donnie and his crew did a great job.

Yup. Rookie coach. Mozgov did so well that they took out Bogut and Ezeli.
Also...Iggy is a great perimeter defender. So why take him to the perimeter with the high PnR? He couldn't handle LeDouche in the low block.

Gotta to say some of those catches Moz made in the lane was impressive..Great hands..Also love the quick dunks..

I just think LeBron was making the calls at those points in the game and he was just tired...

That call was so bad..Same ref called ball out of bounds on Bron when Iggy clearly hit his hand to cause the ball to go out..There were a few GS friendly calls last night..

He needs to learn how to walk defenders into the low block. These young players don't know how to setup initial post. He stops walking 10 feet from the basket then he has to work harder. He also needs to use his weight and not muscle too much on the smaller defenders. Unless you have the drop step move like Patrick he needs to start closer to the basket like Hakeem.
They went to moz. Why take a player out? They get tired!!!!! Then they put them back in!!
Moz played very well.
Cleveland had it. Finals are tough! If Clev could have got that one then rested Kyrie for a game and come out with a split tht would have been great for them.

The junction we were talking about I believe was the last 2 minutes. He did not need a breather. Blatt took him out because GS went small.
One thing you are seeing tho, is that you can pound GS up front...U just have to be able to withstand the barrage of threes...I think Shump did a good job on Curry late in the 4th..He didn't get many open looks..

I agree. Of the 3 ex-Knicks...only JR had a bad game. Shump played really good defense. He almost won the game for them also with that shot at the end of regulation.

Yeah but JR has been lights out in the playoffs...
Kyre has a fractured left knee cap..Out 3-4 months..
Gottlieb on CBS radio said the Cavs used Mike Woodson's offense because they had to.

I can take that two ways..Either way is sad..
I have always thought Shump would be a different player if he ever learn to gather himself and get under control around the rim..
