Im calling this now--David Lee is going to be a svaiour for this team. His passing will help everyone and he can score 55% 13-16 points and grab bounds.

Bogut is not needed past 15 minutes---Clev offense not good. GS should score 100+ next 3-4 games if done right.

Agreed on Lee. The offensive end changed for the better when Lee entered the game. I was telling my friend that Lee may be the X factor. However, you lose a lot with him on the floor on the defensive end.

holfresh @ 6/10/2015 12:22 AM
Curry hit some insane shots..Cavs playing super defense..I have more faith in Cavs bring their defense than I do with GS making insane threes..

markvmc wrote:Why do you think they're feeling pressure, if not for the defense being played by the Cavs?

Maybe because its the finals. Maybe because they realize that the Cavs are giving them the shots?

Hell, I can just imagine Kerr in the timeout huddle telling them that if the Cavs give you an open look they should take the shot.

Cavs are going all out on Curry and Thompson, they're willing to gamble that those other guys will miss the 3 or long J.

Phil Jackson has a big smile on his face, but is waiting for the series to go to the Cavs before gloating, even the the Cav's style is not his by any means.

Happy for Shumpert, not a Smith fan.

They got bailed out this game at the end. Smith was invisible and Shumpert couldn't hit a free throw and had to be replaced on inbound passing.

Other than that Shump had 3 steals and a few deflections..

He has his moments. Also had a really foolish turnover- tried to bust through a small hole on the sideline when he should have dribble back into the middle, IMO.

I like Shumpert, but he is spotty come the big moments.

Last play of the game, he gets the ball in his hands with no time left, and I think he immediately gave it to Lebron- did not want anything to do with it.

Sorry- I know you like him a lot. He does some good things on the court, but he's not a guy you want touching the ball when the chips are down.

i agree that the cavs are up 2-1 not because of jrsmith and shumpert but ins spite of them. they've both made bone headed plays. but so have some of the GSW players... so its not that much here or there.

Has not been a pretty series. Exciting, but not pretty or particularly well played.

Golden State not the golden boys, so far. Lots of bonehead plays by them so far

Right thats why he was +17

Seriously... +/- for one game?
WaltLongmire @ 6/10/2015 1:10 AM
Bogut was pretty lame, tonight. Looked slow for the most part.

Guy has some skills, but his body is not giving him a break. If he continues to play like he did in this game, you really don't get hurt by playing Lee more minutes.

No reason not to give Lee more time- maybe give him a short leash, but see what he can do.

BRIGGS @ 6/10/2015 7:24 AM
"It was great to see him out there, playing the minutes that he did, and giving us a big spark, especially in that fourth quarter," he added. "So I assume he'll have a huge role in our play going forward."

How about it, Coach?

"Yeah, you'll see more of David Lee," Kerr said. "He played really well."

Question on Steph Curry last turnover when GS down by 3,
why wasn't a foul called on Lebron James whom SLID into Steph Curry as baseball player stealing plate
and LBJ knocked down Curry at the legs when Dellanova stole possession of ball with players down on floor

I can't believe this
Is this a makeup LBJ call ? from James not getting call(s) other night

I must be crazy but Lebron James fouled steph curry is why he lost the ball to the floor
knocking Curry's legs

The Refs are horrid in these NBA Finals
Cavs gonna win, nothing vs. greatness of Lebron and CAVs playing hard

But its like whole NBA media, analysts, sports pro nba experts are
all dying for Cavs to win they all are so ANTI-Golden State its not funny

Could a been a great night GS Theft if they won this game. My man Chris Helton (SF) no hitter vs METs felt good
but now this loss.

Shoots Warriors in trouble here

if that exact same play had happened at the other end with curry and lebron roles reversed, lebron would have behaved like he just got shot by a gun and would have got the refs to call the foul. call it smart if u want. i call it being a pussy at the end of the day.

none of the greats before him ever did THAT. jordan did but never to this extent. shaq and kobe didn't. duncan never did.
lebitch.... yep he's hollywood.... hence the new movie previews we saw tonight.

Jordan would get touched and go to the line. He killed teams at the line. Lebron sometimes has to sell it.

Yes, Lebron is a more emotional human than Jordan. Kobe never preened or tried to sell a call? Duncan used to stare at ref.
Lebron is not Jordan, he is just Lebron.

What about Magic Johnson? Larry used to cuss.

Stare at ref is one thing, but make it seem like you just got shot in the back or someone slapped your mom... that's hollywood... that's lebron

Funny comment about Della:

DrAlphaeus @ 6/10/2015 11:58 AM
LeBron is going Super Saiyan. I wouldn't count the Warriors out of this by any means.

Fun to watch Delly scrap. Ended up in an ambulance at the end of that game needing an IV drip. He is never buying a drink in Cleveland again.

Bogut can't handle Mozgov. None of the GSW frontcourt can. Mozgov and Tristan is the reason Cleveland is winning. Yes...LeBron is the key but without these 2 I doubt Cleveland beats GSW. Mozgov disrupting the perimeter players of GSW is also huge.

smackeddog @ 6/10/2015 12:24 PM
All this metrics stuff and "the game has changed" talk is looking increasingly premature (as is this post- ha! I suspect the Warriors will make a comeback)- Cavs are an old school team now (no 'spacing' PF or C, a dearth of good 3pt shooters), showing grit, heart and defense can beat a team based on 3 point shooting.

To be fair, the 4th was when GS made their run.

Nope...she's smiling because he just had his hand "down under."

"Bogut was pretty lame . . . " Yeah, I dunno if Bogut is playing hurt or what but he's been awful so far in this series and GS really needs to work around him. Ezeli has had some nice moments but he hasn't played all year and he looks a bit out of synch. Maybe David Lee is the answer? I expect Bogut to have trouble with offense at times but he's usually quite dominate on the defensive end. However, so far Mozgov and Thompson are crushing Bogut on both ends of the floor.
