Tick tick tick. You knew it admit it.
MS @ 4/26/2015 2:40 PM
Typical new school NY Knicks. Get out toughed and act like bitch. We need tough players in free agency big time.
nixluva @ 4/26/2015 2:41 PM
It was only a matter of time before his true character would show. Dude was having a great revival of his career and just like with the Knicks he makes a dumb, selfish move in the playoffs that could cost his team.
knickscity @ 4/26/2015 2:45 PM
JR is no factor, y'all giving this idiot too much credit. Rather see Kyrie shoot JR's threes anyway.

True so true.

mreinman @ 4/26/2015 2:50 PM

If love is out they will need him against the bulls.

You didn't defend the Knicks for resigning JR and his brother at the time right?

JR isnt getting double digits rebounds or shooting above 35% from three. He's garbage and always will be. They will miss Love, but missing JR will actually be a blessing.

Love is having a great series. that is a huge loss!

Crowder isn't innocent in this..He did hit JR three times on that trip down the floor..Look like the last time in the back of the neck/head area..
gunsnewing @ 4/26/2015 3:04 PM
The Celtics own JR

Yup, but some will deflect the simple fact that JR is a dope.
magicTs @ 4/26/2015 3:29 PM
JR Smith is a complete asshole of a man. Nothing will ever change that fact.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. JR messing up his opportunities is a big problem for his team's, so why are you even bringing up my personal views from years ago?

His offense is pretty impressive though and being at the end of the bench and learning D and O from certain bigs should only improve his game, if he really is willing, so I hope we find a spot for him.

Other guys - Toure Murry is a solid looking player, whereas Chris Smith looks like a pile of dogshit out there.

Chris Smith is terrible its a joke if they bring him to camp.

I was hoping that maybe Chris would show some improvement, but I saw nothing. He's just not any good. He has this belief he's a lot better than he is. He makes no impact. I don't see even the slightest PG skill. Murry looks FAR more ready to help on the NBA level. Even if he doesn't have the PG spot 100% down, he's shown enough to know he can do it. More importantly he's shown NBA level defensive ability. Murry is like a skinny Shump on D. We could use a defender like him when we need to shut a team down on the perimeter.

He's clearly here just because of JR.

nixluva wrote:Really hate to see this but we all could see it comin. I'm sure Woody doesn't like it, cuz he could've made it seem less obvious by playing the kid if he was fully on board with it. He kind of made it clear he wasn't playing the kid cuz he didn't deserve it. This is all above his head.

In the end they'll cut him if Tyler is able to come back healthy. I can't see how they just let him go if he can come back healthy, but remember he's a LONG way away from being able to play so this deal for Smith isn't as bad as it seems right now. They weren't going to keep Aldrich and Diogu. I think Diogu should get picked up by someone given his strong play. Smith is just holding a spot and getting paid while they wait on Tyler.

Just JR being JR, about to be suspended for a cheap shot, just like he did with us.

Good gravy the man is dense. Have to check out the recap. I hope this puts to rest the notion that we got robbed in that trade. Every GM in the league knew there was a good chance that this might happen.

gunsnewing @ 4/26/2015 6:04 PM
We still got robbed as we did with the Chandler Calderon trade
