Knicks · When you watch these playoffs (page 1)

Ill tell you some of these players really turn you off. I hope that the Knicks have no fascination with either Asik or Lopez--I mean brutal--both of them. I know Phil likes the big C but these guys are just dinosaurs in this league. Also Lamarcus Aldridge takes too many shots and bad one's at that. That team has other players that have much more team orientated value. It would be difficult to lose Aldridge of course but I think with the two guards they have there--they might be able to shoot over to GS model with Leonard Mccolum and Lillard. Boy they did not play Leonard enough this year--he's a guy you dont see much but he has a bright future. Leonard is the kind of C that is the future of the NBA Lopez is junk that is of the past.

exactly...leonard is a stretch 5. ive always liked him since his Illinois days. he never got playing time because of conditioning and lack of toughness. now he has finally grown up. video game dame can play but Mccullum is injury prone and inconsistent.

ive never been a big fan of Aldridge. Nice mid range jumper but kinda soft.

You talking RoPez, not BroPez?

Who cares they are the same person.

I agree about alridge. Fish and Hol disagree but I want nothing to do with him based on age and us have alone. Efficiency as a 6'10 post player leaves a lot to be desired as well.

But he would be a typical Knick starphuch

Aldridge has a tendency to become jump shot happy. This is what is going to happen with Towns. This is what has happened to Bargs. Call it excessive talent it can become a players down fall. To much confidence I felt even Pat Ewing fell into the trap. Ewing should have been a much better low post player he should have shot 54-58% for his career. That is my reason for leaning towards Okafor in the draft.

Towns is a complete big man at his tender age. He plays strictly in the low box this year, because his coach wanted him to become a much more versatile big man. He proved that he can rebound and defend; and furthermore, he passes the ball fairly well. When he is allowed to showcase his full offensive repertoire, you will all regret having to pass on this kid. I hope to God he ends up in NY.

I'm a big Towns guy myself. I just see him being able to anchor this teams D and be a reliable scoring threat as well as giving us a player who brings energy and effort. I think he'd be perfect for this franchise. I won't be upset if we end up with OK4 either. I just like Towns a bit more. OK4 could anchor this team's offense and give us an edge every night. I actually think he'll look better in the NBA with more space to work. I'd take Russell 3rd. He's got that Curry vide going. The draft can be a big boost for this team if we end up with a top 3 pick. After that Free Agency gets a lot clearer as to who we should target.

It would be great to get the second pick of the draft. We could do some excellent things with that pick. Do Minnesota like Okafor or Towns? Or are they ready to part with Rubio? They might be incline to draft Russell if they no longer want Rubio.
