He isn't even projected to be drafted. Googled him and saw comparisons to Artest. Also saw that he was the 21st rated prospect coming out of high school and was supposed to be a one and done. He is another guy that appears to be worth taking a chance on. Not sure if there are any issues/concerns with him.

Crush--this is the best 2nd round of a draft in modern day(the last 20+ years) There will be 2-4 Jimmy Butler Drey Green types some good players and a whole bunch of solid role players. The homework on the 2nd MIGHT be just as important as round 1. You can load up here on the cheap. 2-3 guys with 3-4 year rookie contracts at 500k+ a year. If you can mine a bargain then be savvy enough to sign them longer term by holding yearly team options--no lose situation

The Nets were able to buy 2 second round picks last year and grabbed Markel Brown. I don't know if teams will be as willing to sell picks this year but all teams are allowed to spend the same amount of money on transactions annually. Hopefully the Knicks can buy a pick and maybe acquire a pick or two in a trade (hardaway or early).

If we can draft him with a late 2nd rounder *stash him and let him develop in D League/Oversea's for 1 or 2 seasons, even with the final pick, then sign with cap space/exemptions to 2-3year deal* or undrafted, he could develop in to a PG/SG like Evan Turner, likely as the 2nd ball handler, and he seems to be system player with versatile skill sets and ability to defend with a high motor/work ethic with HIGH BB IQ

He could be like what we wanted from Iman Shumpert prior to his injury, a bit of Dennis Schroedder before he developped this year to the player he is today, smaller Jae Crowder/DeMaRRe Carroll and could fit in with Thanasis together on DEF

my only concern about this particular player is his low release point. he wont get that shot off in the nba

Marcus Thorton with a 43 inch vertical at 6.3.5 is going to raise his value.
