Knicks · If we get Towns--anyway we can get Kaminsky? (page 2)

Carmelo needs to take the most shots he needed to play hurt so he could add to his All star appearances he needed to get traded at the time he wanted so the Knicks lost Gallo Chandler Mosgov and two first round picks--guys that couldve actually helped him win.
He's a great player but it would be in the Knicks "team" interests to have him be great somewhere else.Guys like Towns okafor and Kaminsky will be far superior to Melo in 3 years and my take is w are not winning any titles in the next two. So if the Celtics are out there and can pull something off where we can Kamniksy and an additional pick and they get Carmelo--Id be pretty happy and we'd be closer to a winner.
Translation, he was not worth what we gave him to us, and not a MAX PLAYER but you thought otherwise and now you want back in....
At least we didn't trade him for just Nate Walters/Kelly Olynicks in which you were willing to do last season as the next Steve Nash/Dirk Nowitski and Pau Gasol
though Kaminski resembles Dirk more than Kelly Olynicks, he is far from Dirk and lacks the extra couple inches in height/reach/ in addition to skills at their age
Dirk had a great all round game and was very light on his feet, that developed a great mid range game/post up game early at a HIGH % to facilitate as well/playing on and off the ball/great PnR player with Nash as both were GREAT SHOOTERSThat wasn't what you were saying FOR YOUR FINAL ANSWER before you flip flopped 10x already LOL
Either way, it depends, if we want to contend for a play off spot next year and go from their, try to accumulate talent, while having enough cap space for at least 1 MAXish talent and more in 2017...
If we do draft Towns, do you think we can pair him with Alex Ajinicia to be our PF/C's TOGETHER on the floor together effectively with CA and WITHOUT CA???
While developing together, especially if we in fact sign Monty Williams to help continue develop him as an assistant with Rasheed Wallace as a development coach, maybe Ben Wallace, and the trainor that worked with Anthony Davis and Ajinicia last season? Whoever deserves the credit and what they did, Monty Williams should have a better opinion that any one of us on their opinions/development on how to develop him and at what price is he worth it, does he have it in him
Can AJinicia be the next 7-2 PF/C like Ajinicia was and last season was just his first season to untapp his potential when the injuries to Anthony Davis/Asik/Ryan Anderson showed some of his abilities...
I do not know what he is really worth at this point but Monty Williams would probably have a better idea to know if "he has it" in him
I was surprised a bit that he didn't get more PT vs GS, with Anthony Davis and him being the best PF/C combo together to cover much ground on DEFENSE and REBOUNDS together
He tried to win and gave Ryan Anderson more PT, with some Asik and going smaller to match up with GS
Or maybe he was trying to hide his value as he is a UFA..
Maybe he had order to want to evaluate Ajinicia and he didn't follow them, so New Orleans can not determine if they should resign him and at what price or not... probably the most likely scenario for whatever reason
Ron--Im not sure how many times youve seen Kelly Olynck play but if he did not have his foot issue hed already be a 17-7 player. Kaminsky is different his shot is pure and has better low post moves. Kaminsky is really good--lets wait and see.

His body never had yet to fill out and we still do not know if he is a PF or Center or a tweener
He isn't consistent, though he could be tough to defend when he gets his groove going, he can also give you NOTHING at times as well too
You are switching thoughts and opinions of players and talents we should go after after 2 days and believe each is the best option
If you would put all your thoughts each time in one post, and read what you type, you would laugh
How many times do you have to evaluate CA, switching your answer back and forth?
You would have traded CA for Nate Walters and Kelly Olynicks, that should tell you something Briggs
The past 2 years you have been changing thoughts every 2 days and believing everyday you say 100% to be the sure big bang theory
Your assetment of value and willingness to reach for whatever reason is clouding your judgement
I do not mean to be rude but something seems off after reading your posts for and anaylsis for many years
No need to answer me but the past 2 years, any changes in your life, mood swings, medication, habits?
I am not trying to troll you Briggs but I do think you realize the things you have been typing and saying with 100% confidence each time and willing to go all in an another thread 2 days later with the same value with completely different outcomes
1- OK4
2- TOwns
3- TRADE DOWN FOR Walter Tavaras, SHabazz, Dennis *in which 2 teams must decide between pick 3-5*
4- Sign Kanter
5- Tim Duncan and OK4 comparisons
6- Sign Kanter with no trade clause 15% trade kicker all up front
7- Knicks have a plan for Greg Monroe and WCS all along, 3 months ago
8- MUST SIGN Christian Wood...
9- MUST TRADE FOR WALTER TAVARAS
10- MIKE MUSCULA
11- TRADE FOR KAMISNKI and EMBID and 2 2nd round picks and a future 1st rounder
12- we are not not even know our draft order yet and Philly could have 2 picks that changes EVERYTHING if they have Lakers pick
13- SHOULD TRADE CA for KAMINSKI and DRAFT whoever, after saying we should keep CA at all cost going back and forth as the BEST OPTION MOVING FORWARD over 10x already last season
14- Kaminski is DIRK and draft at #3, while 2 seasons ago you would have traded CA for Kelly Olynicks and Nate Walters
15- 5 days till draft order decided....
16- how many more different combanation of what we will get next???
17- OK4 is ZBO but bigger and Memphis will beat GS cause they are up 2-1, and GS won the entire year with NO BIG, we need to build like Spurs, NO Memphis, NO, we should not have CA, he isn't worth it
Could you imagine if you were GM, you would be have a differet lineup every week and Nate Walters, and 10 other rookies, Mike Msucula, Kelly Olynick, and Kaminski

There is no such thing as one idea on how to fix team. How many contingency plans do you think he Knicks or any pro team has--you think they have tunnel vision on players? All of the above posts are true--we need big men --we have none. They probably have 10 contigency plans per pick from 2 down
--why do you think they are interviewing 18 players?
Your thoughts are changing everyday while constantly willing to reach for talent that you are sure is 100% the right move when there is no such thing
I am the one with tunnel vision?
I am trying to help you see what you are typing every other day but do you, you are right, i am wrong
CA should be traded for the next nate walters and kelly olynicks, then he is the best thing for the franchise, then isn't then he is, then you move on to the next player u want, then you do that with 10 other players and want 10 more players in next summmers draft and the one after, that you believe will be a HOF and will move 20 spots up to make sure we get....

Ron--you write a 3 part essay about the D league 3 times a day. Case dismissed
Anyway...
Briggs: I get why you are enamored with the guy but I would lay money he will
Not be a star in the NBA. Using a 10-11-12 pick on the guy? Sure. But his D is gonna be atrocious and his arm length worries me. I have trouble seeing him as much more than a rich mans Ryan Anderson.
