The problem is we needed a franchise front court player- the free agent options are trash. Say we take mudiay or Winslow - how the heck are you rounding off the roster? Also without Towns or Ok4 we have less pull for free agents.

Mudiay has been compared to Wall, Westbrook and Kidd. Where is the Hughes comparison coming from.

People are just bitter. It sucks that we fell to 4, but this is a good draft and there's a lot of talent. Some of these players after the 3rd spot are going to be better than predicted. It happens all the time.
There's literally no reason to be that pessimistic about Mudiay's potential. It is hard to say what Mudiay's potential actually is but the kid is only 19 and won't be 20 until March of 2016!!! So we have to stop bashing him as a prospect. The kid is very advanced for his age.
We also know that Winslow has a lot of good intangibles and talent. He has that it factor in terms of doing all the little things you need to win. The Knicks still have options.

nixluva--its a disappointment to fall to 4 when we held the pole position for the draft for 70% of the year and decide to turn it on at game 80 against sht teams. We had a top 3 locked and we really gave it away. While we couldve got 5 4 didnt need to happen.
Is there anyone besides me a little bit concerned by Mudiay injury? I think he was out for most of the year. I really hope it doesn't become chronical if we draft him.
i think it was a bad ankle sprain that he COULDVE returned earlier from. but he didnt want to hurt his draft stock to he delayed and delayed it. after he came back he looked explosive again. im not concerned with that

Come on man it wasn't anything close to a D Rose situation. Far as we know Mudiay is perfectly healthy. He's been able to work on his conditioning and skills for months. I'm really curious to see where he's at now. He's probably made a lot of progress with so much time to work.

Ah, memories! Remember when we used to try and convince ourselves that he was really contributing to our team, it just didn't show up in the boxscore!

I have read comparisons to Billups without the defense, and Wall without the athleticism. Those were articles trying to praise him. That does not excite me! He'll likely be Brandon Jennings the 2nd

I know. I'm just so disappointed, I'm expecting things to go even in a worse way than they got. I haven't see many recent videos of him. I'll look this up.
