Pick 4 for Zach Levine and picks 31+33
You can often buy a late first or early second.
You are basically proposing pick 4 in one of the best drafts in years to pick 13 from last year

I think anyone of the big 4 or 5 we get at 4 is going to put up more than his 10 ppg as well.
I haven't seen him play, so maybe you should elaborate.

Because Briggs had him at #6 so of course he sticks to his gun (until death ...)

He had Wiggins @ #8 LOL

From the "for what it is worth department," Alex Kirk, at 15 on this list, already has an invite play on our SL team.

I actually think Zach Lavine is the next mega nba superstar and would pick Him 1 in this years draft
That list was excellent just a few flubs considering it was november
he was the worst player in the nba last season....

Very raw.
If he has that proverbial "High BB IQ" he should be fine, IMO.

Zach lavine worst player in nba? Hmm no? Might be the best in 3 years
FistOfOakley wrote:he was the worst player in the nba last season....
this is almost as dumb as any of 1969's posts... take a look at lavines splits, he certainly was nowhere close to being the worst player in the league last year. in fact his progression throughout the year was really quite impressive.
i'm with you briggs, i'd love to get lavine, im not sure id give up the #4 to get him, but i agree with you, he's going to be a beast.

he has talent but not only would Briggs give up our #4 to get him, he would have given our #1 overall pick if we got it.

If I was choosing between Mudiay lavine and Russell to me it's no contest.
Why would Minnesota trade Zach Levine when he fits in perfectly with what Minnesota is trying to build.

why would minnesota draft two pg's in the same draft? they've been making horrible decisions for years now, i wouldn't put anything past them.

That was a different regime.

He is the next Darvin Ham
im not sold on lavine (yet)
I so far do not find there is any special skills in Zach Lavine apart from his dunking and jumping ability.
Also it is always not difficult to find a point guard in the league.
I would keep the no. 4 pick.

LOL. FWIW, his win shares were in negative territory, which means very few players in the league were below him. Per 100 possessions, he scored 95 and gave up 114.

I think if anything, we could get picks 31 & 33 by taking Pekovic off their hands - hurt last year & I think the year before - owed $12m per year for the next 3 years.
I'm rolling the dice that Pekovic can contribute for me and that with those picks, I can address some needs and that I'm probably not adding an impact player in FA.
I'd probably take Pekovic @ $12 for the next 3 & picks 31 & 33 (with Briggs drafting!) vs. Monroe at the max dollars ($12-15M for the next 4)he will command.
