The Knicks site has some pictures from the Towns, Russell, WCS and Booker workout in LA. Towns looks much bigger now IMO.

Looking like Twolves will indeed be taking OK4. Also looking to trade Rubio. Not sure what they are up to at all.

Flip Saunders prefers Jahlil Okafor over Karl-Anthony Towns right now, according to virtually all sources Chad Ford has spoken with.

Towns ascended to the top spot ahead of Okafor on most teams draft boards by the end of the NCAA Tournament.

Okafor has an advanced low post game, but Towns' ability on defense and the potential of his perimeter shot matches up with what most NBA teams value most in the current era.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Ricky Rubio agreed upon a $55 million contract extension last October, but the team is believed to be willing to consider dealing him in the right deal.

Rubio was limited last season by an ankle injury.

Rubio is still just 24 and is one of the game's most gifted passers, but he has yet to develop his perimeter shot.

The Wolves are also high on D'Angelo Russell.

It's simple for the Twolves: Just pick Towns, anything else is stupid.

Still, the Lakers getting Towns annoys me more, I don't know why.

Remember - Chad Ford gets straight up LIED TO at this point of the year. He once got EVERY SINGLE PICK in his final mock draft wrong, because he was so misled about who was going number one overall.

Man, Towns is going to be a super duper duper star. Jesus.

Russell looks like he put on some muscle, too, actually. I really hope we can get that kid. I think Towns and Russell are the two no doubt superstars from this draft.

Towns looks BEAST. He'll be unleashed in the NBA.

There's still a slim chance that we could get Russell, tho I doubt we get that lucky. If Philly feels that Mudiay is the better PG and that is what they're looking for then it could happen.

I've pretty much resigned myself to taking WCS and I would love it if we could trade down and get WCS plus an asset or 2. That to me would be a very good draft at this point.

I'll be honest, I couldn't bring myself to watch the video for fear of weeping with anguish!

Don't watch it, it's just torture. He's going to be very damn good. Towns vs Anthony Davis over the next decade is going to be INSANE.

It is depressing to watch, but I caught some shots of WCS and he's a huge man. You can see he's bigger than Towns. This was the workout where WCS showed his jump shot and I think he'll be a very good get if we drafted him.

This is why I don't believe a single report about the Wolves favoring Okafor. You know KG and Wiggins would both want to play with Towns. Wolves will try to get KG to commit for a few more years and tutor Towns, I bet.

Watching Kentucky games, Stein often seemed to dwarf Towns. Stein is a big big man. I'd be very happy if we drafted him.

But if we had drafted Towns, it'd be like getting a young Ewing.

Phil Jackson might just get chased back to California from the Big Apple if he chooses Latvian big manCGgUo8-W8AEKjp0 Kristaps Porzingis with the No. 4 pick in the NBA Draft.

“Knicks fans will go ballistic if he’s taken especially because [Andrea] Bargnani is looked at as a bust but this kid’s 19, he’s 7-1 growing to 7-2, range out to three,” ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla recently told SNY.tv. “Incredible athlete, shot-blocker, but the big thing with him is going to be his strength early in his career.”

Still, after a workout Tuesday at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Porzingis said he would love to play for the Knicks.

“It would be amazing to play for the Knicks,” he told Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.com, who attended the workout. “But happy to play in the NBA for any team.”

Thanks for this. I like it a lot.

Towns was my 1st choice all year. I just felt he was the total package. Once we lost in the lottery I had to just take a deep breath and release. Now I would be content with WCS or Winslow. Either would be a good addition to this team. Sometimes you have to accept your reality. This one slipped away but it's not all bad. We're still in a good position to get a VERY good player. Russell could still slip and Mudiay could still surprise in workouts. It's all in Phil's hands to determine who he thinks will help this team win for years to come. We can still get a star out of this draft.

Agreed. I'll be able to make peace with selecting Mudiay, Winslow or Stein. I just don't want to trade down and I don't want to draft a reach. I hope Phil doesn't try to prove everyone else's draft ideas are wrong or something.

If Winslow can play the SG, I might be leaning toward him. I feel like he could be a Butler type playmaker. Not Harden level, but pretty dang good and really good in the Triangle. We shall see.

the league seems to swing back and forth... right now small ball, spread the floor with shooters is en vogue... a few years of AD and Towns dominating may swing the pendulum back to a big man game. we shall see.

I say that the big man has never truly left. At least not the defensive big man. Teams in the playoffs still needed a defensive big.

I've tried to make that point many many many times in my defense of WCS (as you know, I'm sure)

Apparently Sixers GM Sam Hinkie was the only GM to make the trip to China to watch Mudiay play. Hope he likes what he sees and Russell drops to us.
