Ive seen them both--Im sure many others have as well. MJ was incredible--really not stoppable but also played with an incredible team with a coach who was a championship maker.
LBJ physically is just better--hes a better playmaker and if I had to put each guy with 4 D league players LBJ would go further. I think Michael had the mental edge for a long time but not anymore
Lebron's performance last night was among the best I have ever seen in the Finals. It might just be the best full stop. He was incredible.
And I agree about the mental toughness - he finally has it. That play when he just ran over and jumped in front of the inbounds pass to Curry was incredible.

^^ This. Not taking anything away from Lebron, but he hasn't yet come to MJ's level of uber-dominance and sheer exertion of will to win. He's doing great this year, particularly in the Finals with his undermanned team.

In a weird way, I think Shump and JR have been such good soldiers for Lebron that it's actually helped make him a better leader. They follow his every move and for the first time you can tell Lebron is actually enjoying leading.
He wasn't early in the season in Cleveland. Cleveland was 19-20 and Bron took two weeks off. He comes back and JR and Shump are there following his every move and all the sudden Lebron is really leading guys for the first time ever.
In Miami I don't think he could because it was Wade's team in a lot of ways. His first go round in Cleveland he wasn't ready, like he said going to Miami was like going to college for him.
I've enjoyed watching Lebron mature. He had a long way to come and he has done it.

The Clev Cavs - LBJ is a good D league team. I still think that GS is going to win the series IF they see what they can do with Lee. The only way to combat that is JR Smith needs to score 17-20 points in atleast 2 of these next games and others contribute. NO way Dalledova scores 20 again.

I think what we are talking about is this moment in time. We have all of Jordans feats set in stone, lebron is still making his.

Jordan would come back at you but was it "team" or was it "Personal". Jordan was a nasty SOB and he could do that with a good team around him. If lebron exhausts himself he won't be able to lead. Jordan had bad games and the bulls won. He often just performed the last few minutes of a game and was able to get the bulls over the top.
Like I said, its just "different". Jordan GOAT is not in debate. Lebron might not sustain this and be able to get Cavs thru the series but after 3 games what he is doing was not called for by the bulls, and thus jordan need not answer that bell. The bulls were a very good team without him.

3) do what Lebron says

Does anyone remember how good JR was on D 3 years ago? I know it seems like an eternity but we have seen this guy before. J isn't dropping? Play D, rebound, take a charge, stay on the floor. We had him this focused also. You just hope if he's on your team you get good JR when you really need it
