Wow. Do you think it is a package that has either Lawson and/or Faried in it?
George Karl described the potential trade as 'exciting', and it sounds like he favors it rather than drafting a player (unless WCS is available), so it could very well be Ty Lawson. However he did say the GM will decide, not him
WCS is a tough case because not only is he behind others in his development due to a late focus on basketball but the roster at Kentucky and their offense didn't provide him with looks that would highlight his strengths. He will look a LOT better at the NBA level where he would be able to get more chances to use his athletic talent. He'll be drafted for his D and his role on O will be more clear and rewarding than what he did at Kentucky. It's a simple enough role but he'd be more involved which will build his confidence.
I doubt Phil would pass up on Russell if he was there or OK4. He might be able to trade down if neither is there.

There hasnt been any good trade down offers. I like stein but not at 4. This all depends on how the first 3 picks go. Hopefully la or the sixers draft prizingis or something outta left field

There's no way Phil would take Stein over Okafor. I think Phil is kind of arrogant and dumb about this, honestly. I think he honestly thinks he'll get D'Angelo Russell now that he's at 4. Or something. I don't think the Knicks will take Stein at 4. I think they'll try to trade down to 6 or 7 to get him. I think Orlando is locked in on Porzingis at 5 now, meaning Stein would be there at 6 or 7 if say the Kings or Nuggets wanted to trade up to 4 to get Mudiay to play the point.
Orlando is gonna trade up to the 3rd pick with Philly to take Porzingis IMO.
Which is fine with me- we get either Russell or OK4. Don't think anyone around here would be upset at these choices- I know that I would not.
Hinkie has so many future picks in his pocket it's crazy. I assume he would need a player coming from Orlando- who would that be? Wonder if he likes Hezonja at 5 if he does a swap?

We don't know all of the offers teams will make. It's not looking very inticing so far but who knows what happens as we get closer. There's likely all kinds of scenarios being talked over.

Lol finally got my account fixed. So this Briggs guy puts up his "final" mock draft a week ago, and then edits it 50 times haha. Hezonja is not going 1 or 2. If Okafor slips to 4, Knicks take him no matter who is available. Just so much retard in this thread it's hard to even get to it all.

That very much could be it cause there has been rumors of those two talking trade and Karl loves having a athletic point guard and he already knows both of them from his time coaching Denver.
Just looking back--not terrible. I flipped out Turner and kaminsky--had Turner 6 and Kaminsky 8 and flip flopped them 1 more time would put turner top 3 with a redo. Was somewhat right on Justice Winslow dropping--had Stanley Johnson to low. Actually had Grant 19. According to the mock I laid out taking BPA per position of need we would had
4 Porzingis
19 Andersen
35 Powell
One omission looking back--forgot Bobby Portis on the last cut--no way I wouldve left him out of the top 25.
Richardson at 24 will be the highest anyone will see in any mock and right now he looks like the absolute steal of the draft. Funny is I had Grant at 19 and he was actually 19 hes not better than Richardson or maybe a couple of guys under him for sure.
I flubbed on Booker that is for sure.
