Here are your first 9 posts in the draft thread before someone called you a debbie downer (which you got pissy about)
Porzingis is darko 2. Take mudiay or winslow
Knicks are a ****ing joke
Toronto or denver is getting a lottery pick next year
Trade the pick i hope
Phil might as well resign at this point. We got darko or frederic weis
big difference between being a coach and a good gm
so far only the knicks look bad
knicks are known to be the dumbest organization. Minny la and philly thanked us for winning the last two games. Now denver benefits
i hate riley but he is a proven gm phil isnt yet
Maybe you should go back and read your first NINE posts and give me any reason I should ever read anything you write on this forum as anything but childish reactionary fodder. You make 9 posts like the above, then get mad when someone calls you debbie downer. You make posts like the above, tell me take my meds and your constantly saying crap like "calm down fish" and you get pissy when I call you bi-polar, which is exactly how you act on this forum.
Sorry dude, I dont know you as a person, but maybe you want to review what your posting because this is what your giving us to work with.

If your a Knick fan Im glad your warm to the pick. I have no clue if he's great or not. I think he was probably the highest upside guy there, and not nearly the project some make him out to be. The rest will be up to KP and the Knicks staff. Hopefully it works out for us. He could disappoint. He's a gym rat, seems like a high character guy and someone who has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove his naysayers wrong. Those are things that I like

He played 20 mpg in the Euro league and put up 10/5 a block a steal and shot 50% and very well from 3 and that was against grown men. Oh wait.. those are Karl Town's stats and he put those up against 6'7 kids in inferior programs.Might be why the Knicks are targeting David West now. That makes more sense to me.
Also, let's be real - does anyone think Porzingis is playing more than 20 minutes a night in year one? He really should not be.
This notion that KP is light years behind the NCAA guys doesnt jive. I just dont see it. Im sure he's got big NBA adjustments, but Phil isnt going to take this guy and not put him in a position to succeed.
Fair enough. But I still think it'd be foolhardy to assume he's going to come in and start right away, right? I think it's fair to say that 20 minutes a night his first year in the NBA is a fair expectation, right? I didn't love the pick, but I'm coming around to it. (For the record, I think Towns will be in a similar boat minutes-wise, though his performances in Feb/Mar showed he could handle a bigger minutes load and put up 20 and 10 if needed.)
I'm willing to wait and see on Porzingis. Obviously I'm not anything near a professional scout, just a dumb fan with opinions.
That said, I don't reallllly think I can see Monroe and Porzingis working defensively, particularly next to Melo. I think the shooting from KP will help both Melo and Monroe have room to operate on offense - but I'm not sure about the defensive side.
Maybe KP eventually develops into a more filled out pressence and he can play a sort of shot blocking defensive center role... I think both Monroe and Melo need that.
However, with the KP pick, I wonder if Phil will back off his interest in Monroe and focus on a shorter term offer to David West. West and Porzingis I could see working very well both defensively and offensively.
It's weird that David West is 35 - but he provides that thing this team so desperately lacks - leadership. Greg Monroe is a very very quiet type. I think he's good, but I think the Knicks need a vocal leader like West. We obviously know Melo is not one. And I think it'd be good for the Grants, KPs, Galloways, Earlys, etc of the team to have a good voice in the lockerroom.

I think we get Monroe and west. Great mix with porzingis off the bench for the first 2 years.
Just saw this post - yeah, I'm way more on board with West.
Bringing in Monroe and West is interesting - that was actually my first thought in the FA thread this morning. But that would be basically all the FA $$$ right there on those two guys. But that provides for a lot of versatility in the front court. Not a ton of versatility in the backcourt still, but with Grant and Galloway and Calderon and maybe Thanasis and Ledo, you've got some depth. I'd love to add one more 3 and D guy at SG.

Starters:
C Monroe
Fs Melo/West
Gs Jose/Galloway
bench: KP/Grant/Early/Lance?/Ledo?
I like a Grant/Galloway backcourt for defense. Those guys will really get after it. Shved might be in the mix. Jose should bounce back.. remember he started on a 50 win Mavs team a whole whopping year ago....
Obvioulsy still tons of questions

yep, that's pretty much the exact lineup I posted in the FA thread.
I'd love to be able to add a SG to that to help Galloway out... but yeah... I think Calderon / Galloway / Grant can be your three guards for the most part. Galloway and Grant can both play either PG or SG.
Yes, still questions, but some potential. It'd be nice to have a pick in 2016 to add to this mix, but there will at least be more cap room coming in 2016 to add some depth at guard and behind Melo.
