Knicks · Official Free Agency Hot Stove thread - moves and rumors from others teams (page 17)

Getting tired of reading this media BS about how the big markets NY and LA are no longer attractive to FAs etc- complete BS, because nothing has changed. Most players stay with their teams, very few have ever gone to NY or LA. Those players that do move teams, do so based on personal preference- fit, money, chance to compete. D Jordan and Aldridge were both Texans- they went to Texan teams. As usual the media are making a big deal about nothing.

I now like the Williams and Afflalo moves even more. SMH

RonRon @ 7/5/2015 8:07 PM

was hoping we could sign him 2 a vet min deal for 2years
DaMaRRe Carroll didn't get much PT in Utah and Millsap and Carroll were both developed in Utah

He has great length/athleticism as a SF/PF and was a slam dunk champion, great value in terms of risk/reward/price and age

Looks like Bass is going to sign with the lakers

Agreed. Phil has done well considering the odds of signing as many quality FAs as he has. Any fair comparison of the Knicks signings vs the Lakers, Chicago, Houston and so on simply illustrates how difficult Free agency has become. Many of these teams throwing around huge contracts for mediocre players will be regretting it sooner than later.

Expected though- I'm intregued to see how he plays next year- he went from being complete trash with the Pistons to being great- wonder which Reggie Jackson will show up.

Josh Smith to the Kings seems to be heating up. How long does Karl last with that team?
