29 yr old 6-3 PG (former knick) who has been a star for Real Madrid in the EuroLeague. Recently posted that he's interested in returning to the NBA. He could be a nice back up PG - Prigoni type. If he can play for cheap (1-2 mill), i wouldnt mind having a seasoned back up PG who can pass and shoot

How about his defense? Not interested in another Caledron

fair question. i cant comment how good or bad his defense is since i watch his games. but im assuming no one, i mean NO ONE can be as bad as jose on defense. lol

I like Sergio and always hoped he'd be better. His first stint here was pretty forgetable.
Maybe he's more ready now?

I don't know if he's improved, but he was barely a serviceable backup then in my opinion. I mean he couldn't even outplay Duhon or Douglas.

Interesting. Any update on Hackett? Phil seems to feel he is all set at the lead guard.

Remember being pretty interested in him when we didn't have him;
Remember being pretty happy when we picked him up;
Remember being pretty disappointed with him when he played for us;
Remember having no regrets when he left.

I had been pushing to get SRod back then. Under MDA's SSOL, he appeared a bit out of control. I think his desire to push the ball up the court brought him past the 3pt line too quick and into help defense without an outlet. Everybody was at the 3 pt line and no one was cutting. I don't blame SRod... That said, I hoped the Knicks would give him the QO...
