The way it works is that the more team oriented, two way players you add the more that mentality dominates your team and culture. No single player will be able to redirect that attitude and team disposition.
As for WCS I don't believe that the hyped health concerns will really impact whether Phil will find a way to add him if he sees him as a valuable addition. We don't know how he really feels about WCS. I'm guessing that he really likes him a lot, just based on his expressed desire to add a big with the talents on D that WCS has. Perhaps now he can get him later in the draft which would be preferable.

nix i know you are a huge phil guy as am i but i agree with tj23. Not everything has to be praising phil. Lets face it so far his work has been unsatisfactory. He has a lot of work to do

I'm not saying it's not hard and that there isn't work to do, but i'd rather have Phil's vision than a lot of teams who are pretending they know what they're doing. Nothing he's been suggesting he intends to do is wrong. Just because this 1st season wasn't great doesn't mean he didn't do the right thing and set this direction for the franchise. I really don't think it makes sense to focus on the start of this process. We're days away from the real building of this franchise getting started in earnest.
