Yeah, but I don't trust the Knicks to correctly scout the injury. We've screwed this up a bunch of times now. I'd rather they just avoid it, because their judgment in this area is historically poor.

It's not a full tear....and he actually played injured, so it's not as bad as you think. The question is how long will it take him to get back to where he was prior to his injury. Thats something nobody can answer. I didn't see the injury, but if someone landed on him (from what I read), then I think he can come back with no problems. If it's an old injury that came back again (STAY AWAY).

I do like him, but health has to be a huge factor here.

If Denver approached us about this deal I would not think about it, to be honest. If Phil approached them it might be a good deal if Nurkic is healthy.

The injury has to be considered, and makes you think that this is why they are willing to trade him, although you figure that their new coach might simply want to put his own stamp on the Nuggets. Like I said above...if Denver came to us offering Nurkic and the 7, I would probably not do it.

Checked out the DExpress stuff on him. He is rugged but has some touch in the post, and some pretty good spin moves. Not sure what his shooting is from midrange. Not a bad foul shooter, but has a strange shot. Guy definitely has a big butt, though. He really looks like he can move you when he's down low. Was he doing any of this with Denver last year?

I think Hezonja want to be the alpha dog.

Not sure Phil would want him, though. Don't think he's disciplined enough.

Boy has some talent though, and I don't think he's afraid of anything.

I think the kid is gonna be a great player in the NBA but he's gonna rub his teammates the wrong way so i'm not saying i wouldn't want him but i would hope Phil and his team have a good interview with him if they did.

It's the type of injury that could happen to anyone regardless of age or size. It's not a chronic issue.

He's the real mystery man of the draft, especially since he has not been able to make it over yet.

He's a guy fans will pay to watch, I think.

I would love to hear Jackson's thoughts on him after the draft is over.

4 inches of the middle of the patella tendon is cut out and used as a replacement ligament in many ACL surgeries. Surgeons use it since the patella grows back quickly If Juric tear is small then it would seem to be a minor procedure as suggested by the 3-4 month rehab. It would be a different story as far as rehab and recovery if the tendon were severed ala V Cruz. Team knee docs can advise with much certainty if the injury should be a concern or not. Having said all that, I know nothing about Juric but think we need a top point more so than a decent big, hoping for Mudiay

correction: it doesn't grow back, surgeons use it because the patella is so strong.

I'm a big Gary Harris fan. If they add him and take Calderon, I'd gladly accept. I think that Harris has enough skill and talent to be our PG of the future. With the 7th, I'd take Hezonja and call it a day.
