Damn, Denver looking to shop their whole damn starting five
New coach...
New system...
New players...
Wouldn't it be a sweet deal if the Knicks traded Melo for Gallinari, Chandler, Joffrey Lauvergne and Denver's 2016 first round pick?
Ill take Gallo for Jose. No picks. At this point Gallo is a glass player who tantalizes you with small stretches, frustrates you with longer ones and makes you forget he's on the team because he cant get on the floor the rest of the time.

I'd toss in the second rounder we got in the JR/Shump trade, but that's about it. I agree, I loved Gallo while he was here, but he just can't stay healthy.
Would Langston become Gallo 2 then?

haha... good question. Im still annoyed we hired a guy people on the forums quote as "fish" which I find to be totally unacceptable.

Agree as well. He had great upside when he was in NY, but injuries kept him from getting any better. If he was still in NY it would be very frustrating as a fan. Looks like Denver is completely scratching the post-Melo era.
I would love to have Gallo back. He is perfect for the triangle. You can play Gallo and Melo as interchangeable forwards depending on matchup. I would send Calderon, THJr and a 2nd rounder for Gallo. They are looking for a 1st rounder but I doubt they get that with Gallo's recent injuries. Would be a nice gamble.
BRING HIM BACK!!!!

Gallo did always have his best games going up against Melo. I'd be interested to see them on the floor together.

1. I can't see Denver getting a 1st rounder for him- unless they are eating salary.
2. I don't know that I would take Gallo at that price- both principals are injured, Gallo's contract ends a year earlier. I'd like to think we could get more for Timmy. I mean, would I rather have Gallo or a high second rounder this year? I'd pick the 2nd rounder and let Briggs make the choice - you probably get more long term production with that than Gallo.
Maybe Gallo has turned the corner and will stay healthy- he should go to Phoenix- but I don't see how you can count on it.
I am a big Gallo fan. Never wanted to trade him. That being said, he has not lived up to the hype. Injuries are a part of it.
I do think he would do very well in the triangle as I think he has an overall game and can defend and rebound too. If he is healthy, he makes NY a better team but it depends on the price.
What does Denver want? Cap space? We got that or corned beef.
