Knicks · Both mocks now have Porzingis at 4 (page 1)

BRIGGS @ 6/25/2015 4:27 PM
Just changed.
Vmart @ 6/25/2015 4:31 PM
I place absolutely no stock in any board. They are changing minute to minute.

Nope this is tightening up now. It makes sense--why wouldnt we want an athletic skilled 7.2.5 C with a 7-6 wingspan. Hes got to be top 5. Go back and look at the history of the draft. How is he not top 5?

crzymdups @ 6/25/2015 4:33 PM
No one has any clue what the Knicks are doing. Though Mudiay or Porzingis seem to be the safe GUESSES... I won't be convinced they're not trading either til the first round is done.
WAKEUPKNICKS2015 @ 6/25/2015 4:34 PM
So you said Cauley Stein yesterday morning, changed your mind to Hezonja last night, and now it's Porzingis? Too funny lol
Nalod @ 6/25/2015 4:35 PM
The mocks mock us!

Safe to say:

Keep the pick one of "zing, Justise, Mundiay"

Trade down, anyones guess. Lyles and Frankie.

5:26 PM : Phil Jackson spotted eating a grilled cheese sandwich. Sources confirm he now intends to select Frank Kaminsky of Wisconsin.

nothing has tightened up except these draft boards last chance to get hits on their website before next season.

I said Cauly Stein because I believed thats who the Knicks were taking--h e was not my pick--I was against it. Hes obviously really injured and no one knew this from the outside here.

😂😂😂 95 percent chance he selects frank kaminsky, 5 percent chance he drafts Wendy Williams. Per BSmockdraft.com

jbeachboy @ 6/25/2015 4:38 PM
but broussard and chad ford are legit? what about woj?
WaltLongmire @ 6/25/2015 4:38 PM
The guys who do the mocks have their sources, and they sift through them and try to read the "tea leaves."

Lots of phone calls and texts going back and forth, I assume.

Some have Mudiay at 4, recently.

Everything's fluid until the end of the draft.

They have a stake at getting things right cryz are you kidding me? These guys have direct access to every NBA team. This is not a dog and pony show.

Only believe this if his tie is red and white.

BRIGGS @ 6/25/2015 4:44 PM
Can you imagine how good Kristpas would be if he trained under Kevin Mchale? If he learned the same post repertoire with his length and soft touch?
FistOfOakley @ 6/25/2015 4:46 PM
the reason why ppl are changing is because nobody knows anything... they are guessing at this point...

the dog and pony show over at ESPN has Mudiay...

I think it's most likely they'll trade back for Lyles or Kaminsky at this point, to be honest.

though if the 4th pick is traded, I think it's a pretty safe bet the team acquiring it will covet Mudiay or Porzingis.

FistOfOakley wrote:the reason why ppl are changing is because nobody knows anything... they are guessing at this point...

But the guessing is fueled by the folks they are using as sources.

Have no idea what will happen, but Briggs is right about the poll prognostication people. This is where they get their reps.

People should go back to the beginning of the draft thread and look at what people were thinking... might be interesting, and perhaps a little funny and embarrassing for some.

BRIGGS @ 6/25/2015 5:44 PM
You cannot go wrong drafting a 7-2 skilled athletic C its the right choice. Its a conservative choice to be honest. Every team needs a C. Whats nice is Porzingis can flex 5-4
