I think Hinkie realizes the clock has run out on his acquiring assets not winning approach and that it now is time to take the next step. Kristaps was probably the pick for them but he needed a player to help them start winning right now. Also why they were trying to bring Saric over. Hinkie has always seemed to like having guys not on the cap developing and part of the future. He has been unique and innovative in his approach but with Embiid's troubles and all the losing fans and the league are tiring of the losing.

Just took another center. They've got 12 centers. They are aimless. No strategy. Talented bigs are the rarest commodity, but they are not building a team that can win NBA basketball games and haven't been doing anywhere close to it for years.
I don't care abou trading THJ, I simply wish we tanked better. Give ourselves the BEST chance to win the lottery

i understand being upset about falling out of the top 3 and even the pick we made. However the hardaway trade was a steal. hardaway regressed and his defense sucked. Grant is a good player

The fact that we got a first rounder for THjr is a borderline water-to-wine frigging MIRACLE. Hardaway blew, he really isn't a good player at all in any facet of the game besides being red hot for small periods of time.
