Coach K got ANOTHER championship and actually out Cal'ed Cal!!!!
Coach K had three guys go in the first round and was nowhere to be found.
Calipari kept saying it was about "the kids" and if so, why was he recruiting on TV.
When they lost to Wisconson he was a very gracious loser, and thanked the players parents!!!!
My friend and I looked at each other and said "boy, is this guy good or what"!!! Im sure any parent of a kid considering Kentucky had to love that velvety remark!
Calipari is very good at what he does!

If its about the kids, then get the fuck out the room and let the families enjoy the moment.
He's a great salesman. Not such a great coach. Perfect where he is.
"getting obnoxious"? he's always been that way. I hated him as the Nets coach. he's a fantastic recruiter, has deeeeeep ties to CAA and coincidentally most of his players wind up signing with CAA. he runs an NBA prep program. yeah, I was shocked he was allowed to be in the green room and essentially break who has picking who a few times. Also, he leaned into the ESPN reporter lady and she was clearly leaning back like "okay, Cal, that's close enough..."

did you catch that exchange about winning an NCAA title with that reporter? Didnt he say it was about the kids before winning titles and she said something like "as a former college athlete there is nothing I wouldnt give for a title" and it sounded like her calling out his fluff as pretty lame... anyone else catch that? I DVRed the draft as I didnt even start watching until 830 or so. I may go back and check
