You are setting yourself up for disappointment.

That's the level of guys available to us.
How does Afflalo sound now?
Why sign thomas when we have early and thanasis. Jason is a stiff pf, we already have kp and hopefully Lou amundson who offer more. Wayne is just a streaky shooter in my opinion.

Don't forget Willie Green, and Kendrick Perkins.
Who is will green. We do need depth at C but I'd rather take a look at the 7 2 galkdas than him really.Perkins is just another dalembert
I like Marks but I wonder if he was in the front office for the Nets when they signed Travis Outlaw in 2010.

hahahahaha. sigh.
well, at least he's not responsible for brook lopez getting 3yrs $60M
I would sign Ed Davis before signing Jason Smith.
So I guess we're down to :
Ed Davis
Jordan
Brendon Wright
Monroe
Wes
Afflalo
Beverly (restricted)
Robin Lopez
Asik
Lin
Brewer

Dallas hasn't signed anyone yet either. They have 30 mil, an income tax free state and one of the best owners in sports. They are losing Tyson and Monta.

They seem to be in the lead for Deandre Jordan though, and Wes

Dallas a tough team to want to go to. They got 37 year old Dirk, Chandler Parsons who is going thru knee regeneration therapy or whatever... and? PGs kinda suck in Harris, Felton.
Not that the Knicks are much better but Dallas aint no prime spot either.

I agree, but Jordan is friends with Parsons and is from Texas.

With the Knicks, I sell Jordan and Wes on this:
Jordan, you compliment Melo at C, PF - defense, offense. 2 all stars with a 3rd in KP in the wings and off the bench. With Wes and Grant and Gallo, you have a rotation of guards that defend on the perimeter and can provide deep shooting/spacing. And in next off season we will add Durant.
Both get deals with opt outs after 2 years and we promise to spend the hell out of you both.

My top gets on that list..
Monroe, Jordan or Robin Lopez
2nd level
Ed Davis, Asik, Lin
Did Kanter sign yet? I would have him on top of the list also.

Yeah, I think DeAndre is their best hope. It seems like Monroe might really head to Portland. I would love DeAndre. Time to see if Phil can earn his money and out talk Cuban.

He is a great guy to follow. I have written this several times. I hope he becomes a media member. He has a lot of insight.
Things are getting crazy.
