Play in the NBA?
I don't think Thanasis has the same hops, and he definitely doesn't have that 3 point shot. Hopefully, he willhave gotten over his propensity to foul while defending.
KJ can't shoot 3s either.
Thanasis has close to a 40 inch vertical; KJ Mcdaniels has a 37 inch vertical.
Thanasis still does foul, but it isn't alarming he averages 3 fouls per game.
I'm curious to see Thanasis in summer league. But I agree with those saying there wouldn't be much buzz around him if not for his brother.
I can't really say how Phil feels about the progress of Thanasis. If he did bring in KJ I would guess that he feels KJ was more NBA ready.

Or he seem Thanasis as more of a SF.

Yeah he is playing as a SF, so that's one thing. Early is also a SF. Phil may not be ready to add another guy. His next move may actually end up being a PF.

To be honest, neither of those guys are ready, there just athletic. This dude is doing ally oops to himself down by 20. Thanasis couldn't get a call up on a 17 win team. If you can't bring in a star player, then find some high IQ 2 way players, or defensive specialist.
too many young players= ugly basketball
One stat I really like about him is that he attempts most of his shots around the rim and finishes at a 80% rate. Impressive. No wonder Houston went after him.
One option I am open to is that we do a sign and trade with Houston to give them Early, and then we sign Caron Butler for the vet min. Houston dosen't lose a player for we, we get the better talent and we go after another leader.
