JR at 6.5MM and Felton at 4MM would have been easily moveable in this climate. Whats happening in FA is an absolute disgrace, the Knicks need to wise up offer Monroe a deal and start locking in pieces with upside.

That's insane and on the level of horridness as Landry Field's Raptors contract. Wowzers. shump sucks.

Edit: Yes it's a lebron team and they have love and Irving to boot so Gilbert is just overpaying to keep the other guys there and in that context it's fine. But taken on its own, LOL. Shump should be sending Phil thank you cards, aromatherapy candles, and sage bunches to burn.

DEFENSE and CHEMISTRY has no numbers or STATS


Especially with some here that place too much emphasis on Advanced Stats

numbers are results on a game and NOT an evaluation of talent

In order to defend, you need defensive players, 1v1 defenders, TEAM DEFENDERS, LOCK DOWN DEFENDERS, REBOUNDERS
There are so many different types of defenders, On the ball defense, passing lanes, shot blocking/rebounding, however, good shot blocking and rebounding may = GOOD DEFENSE either


High shot blocking stats, and rebounding may, along with STEALS does NOT = GOOD DEFENSE, it can be misleading
While the ones that use the advanced stats, sometimes feel they have a greater understanding of the game in which Charles Barkley was trying to call out with his NERDS statement

How, Why, improvements, systems, and many others things, it simply does not tell the WHOLE STORY
