Thats Melo's line. Its no the team--it's my.
And who is HIS spot up shooter?

Talking about KP.

Funny to see this cause i just read a comment from Melo before coming on here where he said about Porzingis "he can open the floor for ME" and i thought the same thing. Now we could put this on the fact that he's been ISO Melo for so long that that's just how he's used to talking but still not what i want to hear from him.
Melo gets HIS shooter.
Briggs gets HIS threads. Everyone is happy!

why do you keep creating esoteric posts without links or context?

That's the real question! Briggs, this is a message board not Twitter.
Haha i read that yesterday hahaha smh
Everyone is looking at it negative but no one sees that when he says "he can be my spot up shooter" it's an option to pass. Which is what you want.
He needs a media coach or something. He keeps doing this stuff, saying 'I' vs team. I would think someone like Phil would mentor him but its been a year now.
Melo's actual words were "I see the potential that he has and i'm just looking for someone who can stretch the floor for me and he can do that". He's the star of the team and he thinks that way. It's not likely that we're gonna bring in someone who is better than Melo. This is just the reality of the situation. KP has great potential but he's a long way from being a franchise player at this point. Melo is the franchise player of the NY Knicks.

+1 - Good look trying to calm down the angry mob. They got the pitch forks and torches in hand.

It was a stupid Kobe like comment.
Just shows how self centered these guys are. Other players are not fond of this.
You guys are reading way too much into this.... jeez

I think it's a bit overstated. Most top players think like that. Jordan surely did. Melo isn't a guy that is hated from all the evidence i've seen, players like him. He's not like Kobe who can be mean spirited and derogatory towards his teammates.
Why would him saying "my" be a problem for anybody, sheesh!
so the best scorer on the team says a guy makes his job easier and this the reaction... Good stuff. Most guys are treated like jocks. Knick fans treat what comes out of Melo's mouth like he's running for POTUS

like Kobe telling Aldridge that he can be his new Pau Gasol?
