He needs to start thumb through it, or was that some BS he was running.

like when he said he was gonna recruit during all start weekend, but then after the event he said 'nah nah, that wasn't the time or place for that'

It got thrown out when the cell phone with storage capability was invented.

What are you talking about? He said he would be calling players and he has. That doesn't mean he can guarantee players will come. I'm sure it has some impact on them giving the Knicks a listen but not as much as the money we have to spend. People need to get a grip and stop hating on their own team. WTF? Can we get past 2 full days of Free Agency before we call this a fail?

People have officially snapped. Plenty of big names out there. Plenty of time before we can call this a failure.

There are league rules against that. Free agents can collude (see the Big Three in Miami). But a signed player from one team can't try to openly recruit a player signed to another team. I'm guessing MSG brass and league reminded him of that privately, hence his statement as to not being the time or place. He had to hold back.

Seriously. Also, some of less lauded free agents are only marginally less talented offensively and better defenders. The Knicks need D more than O, although any offensive contributions would be appreciated...by the fans at least.
