Don't tell this to Isola who wrote another article bashing Phil as naive and embarrassing himself. SMH.

Phil's moves have been logical and we still have cap.
This is why we didn't get Monroe. Phil probably let it be known Monroe will get the max but only after he sees where they stand with Aldridge and Jordan. Monroe wanted to be someone's first option and he got that in Milwaukee. Robin Lopez is content being the fallback.
Chandler got run out town mainly because he didn't fit the triangle and his lessor clone is now sought after by the Knicks?
Given what I heard about the strange relationship the Morris brothers have in terms of being together, this might actually have been a factor in Robin Lopez coming here.
Of course the money made it a little easier.

Chandler got run out of town because he evaporated into a fine mist whenever the Knicks were in the playoffs.

What are you referring to?
Folks, he is not a Knick yet.

He was a locker room problem, under performed and was a malcontent. The guy was paid to be a leader and a locker room presence. That doesn't include his illnesses that caused him to miss weeks at a time and drop weight at a rate faster than any other human on the planet.

Marc Stein just confirmed it, actually. They just said on ESPN radio.

this sounds entirely plausible and may well have happened that way. If Monroe thinks he is on Jordan's level he needs to check in on the real world at some point.

Chandler got run out of town because he had chucked it, had a piss poor attitude, was always moaning about something, did zilch in the play offs and was generally a waste of space. Lopez will have far more hunger to play for the Knicks than Chandler did in the latter part of his spell as in New York.

Which is 10X more productive than Lopez will be..Dude is pulling 5 boards a game for his career..

Chandler got traded because he quit on the team and did not care any more. I liked Chandler, still do , but it was not going to work with him over here any more.

Yes, over 21 minutes. Chandler is the better rebounder, no question, but the stats look way more skewed because of the minutes.
Anyway, I like Tyson Chandler but he is getting a bit older and it's smart for us to go younger in this case.

I liked Chandler. Now that I know his character I can't stand him. Guy was almost a max player.
