He was a locker room problem, under performed and was a malcontent. The guy was paid to be a leader and a locker room presence. That doesn't include his illnesses that caused him to miss weeks at a time and drop weight at a rate faster than any other human on the planet.
Chandler got traded because he quit on the team and did not care any more. I liked Chandler, still do , but it was not going to work with him over here any more.
I liked Chandler. Now that I know his character I can't stand him. Guy was almost a max player.

Chandler got run out of town because he evaporated into a fine mist whenever the Knicks were in the playoffs.
Which is 10X more productive than Lopez will be..Dude is pulling 5 boards a game for his career..
Yes, over 21 minutes. Chandler is the better rebounder, no question, but the stats look way more skewed because of the minutes.
Anyway, I like Tyson Chandler but he is getting a bit older and it's smart for us to go younger in this case.
Tyson sucked but this guy is not a good player by any stretch..

Monroe wanted to be someone's first option and he got that in Milwaukee. Robin Lopez is content being the fallback.
this sounds entirely plausible and may well have happened that way. If Monroe thinks he is on Jordan's level he needs to check in on the real world at some point.
Phil did the right thing. He knows we needed D more than anything and so he couldn't have Monroe ahead of better players. Then he locks up RoLo even before getting the final word from Jordan. The Phil doubters can't knock that tactic.

Not a good player by any stretch? Ok....
Anything coming out about the length of the contract?
We are signing the players Aldridge is giving up millions to get away from..
Robin Lopez was our fourth choice behind DJ, LA and GM - precisely because he is not that good a player. 7 footers still get paid. This is the NBA.

Sure that's it.
Yahoo Source: After Clippers meeting, DeAndre Jordan remains "truly 50-50" and "torn" on choice between Mavs and Clippers. Decision looms
Robin Lopez is a Knick unless Jordan is struck by lightning.

This isn't about Tyson. RoLo is a solid player. He can actually score in the post!!! He's mechanical but effective. He'll fit in the system and he's real long. He has a 9'5" standing reach.
Phil still has more work to do.
That's good but I don't get the Lopez's concern. Why to hold up.

Lopez is good?
^^^^Wojo reporting Jordan is deciding between the Clips and Mavs. Robin is a Knick.
