I know he scoffed at the idea, but we might represent his best shot at getting paid and being on a solid team. He'd be a perfect fit between Melo and ROLO. And he could split time with KP at PF.

I hear you but West already trashed the knickerbockers politely,
He isn't coming here now and indicated he'd take less for Warriors or Spurs.
No way he bothers here, I rather NY take chances on ex knickerbocker Wilson Chandler

Is Wilson a free agent? I would love that actually.

I read somewhere or its posted nuggets would like to move Chandler in some trade, I will search the link
Here is one link, recent. Older Jan. 2015 nuggets try to move Wilson but he had good durable year 2014\2015 not the norm for Chandler.
http://blogs.denverpost.com/nuggets/2015...
Seems from link Wilson FA 2016 guaranteed contract, but maybe nuggets dont want to lose him for nothing 2016
.. is presumed, while this yr. He has good value.
Thus Exp. Contract between now n next 2016 I reckon.
Like to add I agree ..
in many knick fans would love David West toughness he would be great here
But I am into guys whom want them knick too, unless he changed his stance now
We improved with few good FA's

It's not often you can double your win total.
I think they'll be pretty competitive. I think .500 is the best we can do though.
Absolutely no way. Never wanted this geezer to begin with and certainly not after opening his mouth...would much rather see Derrick Williams, Lavoy Allen (basically a younger cheaper version of West) and/or Alexey Shved with the remaining cap space....or Patrick Beverley or Jeremy Lin to further beef up the PG spot maybe + Shved--I can swallow that ahead of signing David West. F him.

Compared to the rest of the roster we are stacked at PG. Don't understand spending more money there. Galloway, Calderon, Grant, maybe Shved

Agree David West is 35 and just dissed the Knicks as well? I wouldve liked to get Bennimon on our SL team. Right now what I would do it sit back on the cash and see what unfolds. See if players are released--see if there are standouts in SL were in good position lets chill here with the cash.

Yes to Benimon--Khem Birch is another SL guy I'm very much interested in.

Seriously??? Some things believe it or not mean more to people than money. The guy wants to be on a winning team . He does NOT want to come here. Next...

I know he is rumored to be going to the Wizards or one other team. I think the Wizards are really good but I think their ceiling is the conference finals. Also, they will miss Pierce.

Remember
Kristas P (KP)
won't be around on NBA court until best case 2016/2017 (late) year
and possibly worst case 2017/2018
NBA nyk fans won't be seeing KP for at least 2 yrs down the road
is what's being stated or forecasted
Simply stated KP isnt NBA ready yet

I think he will play about twenty minutes per game this season. I have a feeling he will go down with minor injuries a few times, but I think he can be a rotation guy.

Yup...
He might have considered coming here if the Knicks were set up like the teams his Pacers beat a few years ago. He still wants to be on a championship team, or at least one that can compete at that level.
On this Knicks team he isn't a final piece...but more of a mentor and professional influence on our younger players.
