When Frank adds more strength I see 20-9-5 numbers from him in his best years...

yeah but I've read that 27-8-4 isn't good enough to be a starter in the NBA...

Guilty as charged for overexagerating his assisting numbers, but I didn't mean that he would do it over a period of time,I was thinking that when/if he gets stronger, in his best years he could be putting up close to 20 pts and 9 boards.

Well have to wait for Towns and Russell but I will be shocked if there is a better NBA player than Myles Turner. Hes easily the best shot blocker one of the best rebounders and he has a diverse offensive skill set that looks quite mature for 19. Stanley Johnson has also just been great. Indiana had an IMPACT draft.
The difficulty in the east will be evident--we are lucky to be in the sht division.
BRIGGS @ 7/8/2015 8:23 PM
Branden Dawson is easily the best UDFA of this year so far--not close. He was an animal every game he played on the D--he rebounded like a PF and he played well offensively as well.

I would say the two top FA were Willie Reed and Nate Wolters.

callmened @ 7/8/2015 9:06 PM
too bad branden dawson plays the wrong sport (he would be an excellent DE). nice athleticism but dude simply doesnt have basketball skills. He'll get a shot in the league because hes an athlete. he cant shoot or pass though.

nate wolters is what he is. against summer league competition, he always looks ok. i wouldnt take either of these players too seriously

when i watch the summer league, i watch for the rookies (and how they fair against competition better than NCAA) and i watch my knicks

GustavBahler @ 7/8/2015 9:27 PM
Kaminsky did look good at times, did a nice job of misdirection on some of his takes to the rim. Impressive for a big.

Well have to see how Thansis plays because I doubt he will be close to what Dawson brought his week. By the way Dawson is a rookie.

I think what Frank did well is he showed he can rebound and block some shots while playing periods of solid positional defense beyond some of the offensive stuff. He did not get to the line as much as you'd like his physical play will need a step up but he has a good chance to be a very good NBA player. He should be an excellent 3rd or 4th player who has a chance at the offensive end to be an all star some day.

BRIGGS @ 7/8/2015 9:42 PM
Indiana walked away from this draft the winners. I knew it on draft night gave them an A but the play from what i can see from both Turner and Young was spectacular. in Young they may have gotten what might be a later lottery to mid range talent at 40. He showed today the difference between a non athlete and an athlete who can also shoot it. I will be shocked if ANY college player or Kristpa cans hoot as well as I saw turner shoot and he ADDS major league shot blocking physicality rebounding and athleticism.

Looks like the Clippers are going to sign both Dawson and Wolters and from where they are(no draft pick coming in) they get an A. There will be a lot of tams this weekend who "hope" they have two players show what Wolters and Dawson did this week.

Hes the real deal. hes very athletic / quick and you add in a superior looking jumpshot and hes a 90% FT shooter you're talking one helluva player. He played on a bad team and carried them to the NCAA's.

Orlando did well too for what they need. Harvey has shown he can play a role off the bench that Ben Gordon could not--he can come in make a shot pass/move the ball and also make a play at the basket on the drive with his size. With Hezonga and Harvey(and some mid range shooting from Smith) I think Orlando has fixed their lack of 3 point/perimeter shooting. I dont know if Scott Skiles is the right coach?

The Knicks have had 6 draft picks in the last 2 years. They better have some results. The only 1 I truly agree with is KP. KP is the franchise to me. If he fails to live up to what the some of us think he could be it will be devastating. However that doesnt give the Knicks a mulligan on our other picks--we need to produce.

Herring is at the knicks summer league practice facility- said porting is did not practice for "precautionary reasons". Hmpf, don't expect much from him in summer league

Jees if he cant practice he cant play--Knicks hiding injury. I really hoped they checked him out before making him the draft pick. The hip is a VERY tough spot on an athlete. remember Bo Jackson built like an absolute tank--hip injury ended him at young age.
