nah. he was an iso player and selfish to some extent. he was good for us in the regular season but was easy to stop in the playoffs. i think we wanted to change our iso/selfish offense culture a bit so losing him is fine with me.
Yeah, plus Brazilian Durant is ready to pick up the slack.

He seems to have a thing for women with particularly smooth faces

now he's only 1 year away from being 2 years away
djsunyc wrote:pretty decent contract for 6th man of the year.but pennies compared to his value as the pimp of the century.

He basically shoots the 3 ball and nothing else. I wouldn't of minded him for us to be a scorer to help Melo though.

That money went quick. It's going to be interesting to see how this all works out.
His stats are really decent too. Would he have been a better buy that Afflalo?

I don't think so. Better on offense, but not as complete a player.
Lakers team construction is a hot mess.

Pure gunner. Will amuse me to no end when Kobe lunges for a steal ( if it won't end up as a counting stat, Kobe doesn't care) misses, then gives up an easy layup, then glares at Williams and Hibbert and the rest as if it was their fault.
With Kobe Bryant chasing the scoring record, not sure how this will all work out.
Hibbert doesn't need the ball to be effective, but Russell and Williams will actually need to touch the ball at some point, also Randle.
Bryant will literally freeze them out. While Randle and Russell might take it as rookies, Williams and Bryant will likely get into it at some point over the chucking.
Honestly I think Kupchack secretly hates Kobe Bryant and did this to see if he could incite Kobe to swing first at another player and have said player just break Kobe's jaw in half. It would please me nothing more than to see Kobe Bryant get beat down on national TV, begging for his life and safety and getting trashed all over the court.
Bryant represents everything that is wrong about the NBA, pro sports in general and is just about anti-team in every last single available category. I literally feel sorry for his kids. ( How do you behave like that and justify it to your children and explain it to them? Rings and championships aren't enough in my book )
Leadership should be a necessary burden, not a marketing point for your own vanity.

No cause Phil wants guys who play defense and Lou plays zero defense.

I don't know where to start, Your immense odium for Kobe or your signature?
I still until today don't understand why the Lakers resigned Kobe..

Ah! Good to know about Williams.
