Why? I think he'll be a good backup to Jordan. I was hoping we'd bring him back but I guess Phil is looking for something else.
Can't wait for the summer league. Maybe Phil thinks Lou and the Lithuanian are better fits.

Bummer. I liked Cole. Nothing spectacular, but he was consistent when he was on the floor.
Well, that's one less guy I was concerned Lance Thompson would be taking away roster space from.
Good for Cole. I'll miss his D but also his wild hook shots. The Knicks will have some bigs in Summer League to choose from. In the end they may find someone with a bit more talent and versatility. Cole was a nice reserve big, but I can understand the Knicks wanting to see if one of these SL bigs is a better option.

He has always been a solid player for us. Even in the triangle last season him and Shved(16 games I know) were the only plus players we had.

Yeah, I wonder about that. Interested in seeing what he can do as we need a backup center. I imagine O'Quin does some 4 and 5.

his plus is effort, not necessarily intelligence. but good effort guys are always good regardless of the system. maybe phil didn't want to pay what clips did? why does the tweet say alridge not aldrich?

He is a solid player for any team( off the bench). Always been a plus defender, great rebounder, good ft shooter, and his post game has gotten better and better each year. The Clippers are not stupid for going after him. Good buy for the Clips and I hope he does well(except against us)
Cole was a very serviceable backup 5. Never fully understood why he didnt play more while here since he did two things we lacked, rebounding and interior D. Liked Lope addition but would have been satisified with Cole and Amundson as stopgaps if we entirely whiffed. If QQuin only plays 5 then Cole may have been superfluos but preferred him over Lou because he is bigger and younger. My guess is Amundson returns at vet min

We just signed Lance Thomas using our cap, I am not going to put it past Phil that he offers Lou Amundson the room exception.
I won't miss his hook shot from beyond the Free throw line
