The more I watch this guy - the more you want to believe he'll be good. Really strong presence, great natural speaker.

:14 - That's Myles Turner, right? Buddies.
1:08 - walking next to KAT. Towers over him.

I think his brother should be a good influence on him - he's always around, advising him, pushing him, making adjustments. Is he still an active player in Europe or is he retiring to ensure KP's success?

Unless OK4 works extremely hard both on and off the court, especially in the gym, to get stronger, quicker/more athletic, to go with his skills, foot work that he already has
Along with his FT shooting and lack of shape, it will have an affect on him on both OFF and DEF
Maybe getting the 4th pick, could be a blessing in disguise right now...

It is very possible for KP to be the better pick and IMO, has the higher upside, work ethic, and versatility to play multiple positions
Playing in New York is NOT for everyone, a couple years back, Iman wanted to be here, however, the injury with our poor development staff, lack of system, and lack of DEFENSIVE players in all positions to play with didn't fully utilize his skills
He also needs to play with talents that could facilitate, while concentrating on DEFENSE and WIDE OPEN SHOTS, as we saw last season prior to the injuries of Lebron, Irving, and Love
Triston Thompson and MosGoV are both greatly under rated as well

I hope we improve our development staff along with our trainers, along with our medical staff/physical therapy/preventive injuries
Jason Smith last year was his best year in terms of health in his career, as he credited our medical staff and Phil Jackson wanted changes last season as well, though I do not know if he was able to change or add anything....

Thanks for posting that- he definitely comes across as a nice guy who's easy to root for. I think he'll have a rough summer league, but I hope the fans and media back off.

He definitely has my full support. I got no problem waiting for him to reach his full potential.

I was really intrigued with Zinger leading up to the draft, but kind of wanted a guard at 4, but when we were able to grab Grant later in the first I became ecstatic about both picks.

Love the videos from grantland. I am so excited to see the summer league

He's got personality and doesn't seem afraid. Who knows what'll happen, but he seems like a smart, good kid. Rooting for him to succeed.

After Russell worked out for LA,and then cancelled his workout with Phillie, I knew he would go #2. Once I saw the workout he had in Las Vegas and then studied the available tapes on Porzingis, I kind of felt Phil would take him over WCS, Mudiay and Winslow. Here's hoping that he's the one.

The kids 7'-3" and he plays 7'-3". I know we all have learned to be cautious about our optimism, but no-one is going to stop this kid from scoring. He is going to drop buckets. I'm predicting at least one 20 pt. game from him in the SL and he should avg. 15 pts. and 2 blocks.

I hope this kid Balls Out in NY this year and the rest of his career. We haven't had a legit Star that we drafted since Ewing so it would be great if this kid turned out to be our next franchise player. Doesn't matter what we all thought before the draft KP is here now and I think there's real excitement about what he can do and what he can become as he matures. He's starting out with a great skill set and nice athletic tools. With that great height and length he has all kinds of upside if he can put it all together. It'll be so interesting to see what he actually looks like tomorrow.

System over scoring. Hard to accept, but with Fisher on the sideline, and Galloway and eventually Grant running the Triangle, I expect that we won't get the kind of scoring outbursts we would want to see from one of our players.

I doubt if any of our guys puts up enough shots to score over 20 points- and there is no more Hardaway to dominate the ball.

Hopefully KP, Early, or whomever, finds a way to exploit the system to score, and they do it in an efficient manner.

I'm pretty interested to see how they make use of Porzingis on the offensive end, and whether his moves in the post have matured.

I would prefer that you be correct...and I be wrong on this one, though!
