For the kings there is no harm in taking a shot. For us i wish we had our first rounder back
Copied the wrong tweet,. Rumor is from STein.
Switching a softy for a softy.
I'd rather have Derrick. At least he's young with maybe an ounce of hope. Bargs was a cancer

Not sure we would feel this strongly about Bargs if he had not cost us that #1...

Before they signed on Rondo and Belinelli, it would seem the Kings might have been the one place that could have absorbed Joe Johnson and had a real use for him ( he's a good player, just not probably worth that massive contract)
Not sure what kind of defense the Kings can put together with Bargs, Rondo and Belinelli coming in. Rondo has regressed a lot.

Am I the only one thinking that Rondo was only good while he had three future hall of famers on his team? I mean, when you have Pierce, Allen and Garnett to pass to, it is easy to look great, even if you are Shane Larkin.

At his peak, Rondo was an elite perimeter defender and the doubled edged sword of confidence, well it worked in his favor. He was a risk to go triple double on any given night. I don't think he had the capacity to take over a stretch of games or a game itself, but for short spurts, like a quarter, he could be overwhelming and devastating.
I think part of the problem wasn't losing three HOFs as much as a shoddy work ethic, a refusal to better develop more of a well rounded skill set and being a high maintenance type personality. He's like a fighter pilot. To keep that edge, you have to live with the drinking and the talking back and speeding tickets. Now he's like a mediocre fighter pilot but with that same young pilots bravado and arrogance.
Good, that is Geographically about as far away as we could have hoped for.

Something we agree on!
If it was a 2nd rounder, or even two, it would be just another bad deal.
But after all Knick fans went through to get even a #4 pick & the fact that there is a good chance they'll be picking close to that next year - I really can't stand him.
i dont remember disagreeing with you much at all. At any rate yeah giving a first round pick for a guy who was about to be amnestied was dumb

I didn't mean you agreeing with me.
Just messing with you.
Is the pick protected or is it an Isaiah special?
its not protected. Denver can swap with toronto. Its a james dolan special
AlexanderFuSheng wrote:Amazing. You think teams would learn their lesson & you would never again see a pick traded that wasn't top 5 protected.
knicks are known for doing that which is why the past 15 years have been hell. Thankfully phil values the draft much more than dolan and previous GMs
Great news. Now I don't have to worry that we resign him.

Thank the Basketball Gods that we got Grant this year. Sort of feels like an early present for next years loss.
And next Year Grant would be a top 10 pick, looking like a weak draft I hear. At least with the team we have
we are not giving up a lotto pick.

Simply think the way I've been thinking...Hernangomez would very likely be a mid-20's 1st next year and maybe even a low 20's pick if he really does well on his new Spanish team, where he will be playing with and against some very good players.
